I have gone thru so many threads in this wonderful site, and ultimately got confused :(.
I am from Hyderabad and currently in Mumbai, and would be moving back to Hyderabad with two boys (6.4 years / First Std & 4.2 years / Nursery) and need suggestions for their admission for the next academic year (2012 - in LKG and Second Std).
Please help me in identifying good schools (not interested in Internation Schools), if possible pl provide me admission details, fee structure...
I stay at Lakdikapul.
Thanks for your help.
DPS hyderabad is very good school.
kris2, thanks for your reply. i need to know name of others school too and also the chances of getting admission (lkg & second ) for next year... date admission, fee...
dear mickey, u seem to be a very active and helpful member, kindly guide me with the admission information...
Hi Sajju, Are u looking at CBSE or ICSE schools ?
Mickey, In general I am looking for any CBSE / SSC / ICSE, but preferred is CBSE. The reason for including SSC is keeping in view the performance by SSC students (from Little Flower or Naryana Concepts), my problem is currently I am in Mumbai but would like to admit my sons in LKG and 2 Std (next academic year), but un aware abt admission date, or fee structure and so on...
Generally admission forms for LKG are given in Oct/Nov/Dec. Different schools have different dates. For higher grades, it is usually in Feb/Mar/Apr depending on vacancy , followed by entrance test.
If you are staying at Lakdikapul, you could prefer Meridian School at Road No-8 , Banjara Hills, BVB (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan) on road no 71 and 45,
Chinmaya Vidyalaya in Begumpet, Sister Nivedita in Ameerpet,
P Obul Reddy Public School in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills Public School.
Meridian is expensive out of all the above mentioned schools.
DPS n Chirec would be quite far for you. All the above mentioned schools are good and competent. In schools like Obul Reddy and BVB , there was a lottery system for LKG last year.
In SSC, telugu is compulsory. So if your elder one is able to cope up telugu, u could opt for SSC schools. But it is better u opt for CBSE.
You could even try in Rishi Public School (CBSE) in Himayat Nagar. It is a small school though and doesn't have a big playground. Below are the websites of the schools that i have mentioned above. Chinmaya's site is not active yet.
dear mickey, thanks a lot for you reply, nice to have someone like u in this group, i really appreciate your efforts for providing so much information...
thanks once again.sajjad
