 Hi Nidhi,

There are many good CBSE schools and it will be a very long list .

Below are the schools in Hyd  which are easy on pocket and can be preferred in the same sequence.

BVB (Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan) in Jubilee Hills, Chinmaya in Begumpet,  DAV (BanjaraHills), JHPS (Jubilee Hills Public school), P Obul Reddy Public School in Banjara Hills,  Radcliffe in Balanagar, Sister Nivedita in Ameerpet, Rishi Public School in Himayat Nagar, Little Scholars and Hindu Public school in SanathNagar.

Only JHPS charges heavy donation. Last yr my friend has paid 1lakh . Other schools have the regular admission fees and are pocket friendly.

Schools in Sec'bad

DAV (Safilguda), KV Picket (if u are open to KVs), Sec'bad Public school , Pallavi Model School (Sec'bad), St Andrews (Sec'bad), Bolton and Kotwals

It is difficult to get in BVB, Chinmaya, JHPS and Obul reddy. U could however try in P.ObulReddy. Chances are bright in Radcliffe, Sister Nivedita, Little scholars, Hindu Public school, Secbad Public school ,Pallavi Model school, Boltons, Kotwals.

Schools around Hi-Tech city/ Kondapur/ Miyapur/kukatpally  which is another corner of Hyd.

Prefer  below schools if u are staying in these areas.

DAV,  Sanghamitra , MVM, Sentia-The Global, Vikas, The Creek, Sanskriti, Euroschool, CGR Intl , Prerna  and Sloka Waldorf school

Schools like DPS, Chirec  , Oakridge, Orchids, Meridian, Sancta Maria , Phoenix Greens will exceed your budget.

Yes, there is an entrance test for class 1 in a few schools but not for all.
Admission for class 1 usually take places in Mar/Apr/May. But it is better to keep a track from Nov'11 onwards. The increase in fee varies from school to school and is not fixed. There is however a GO pending regarding uniformity if fees across all schools in Hyd. But i doubt if it can ever be implemented !
