Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme

Hello everyone,

Is the sukanya samridhi scheme is a genuine or not? please tell me how does it works and i came to know that till 15 years we need to deposit the money and after 7yrs we are going to get the amount with 9% interest...till 7yrs anyone remembers about our invested money.......................please share your opinion as I have 2 daughters and till now i did not started any savings and wants to start with this scheme...........please share your suggestions and also let me know for monthly savings schemes.....
