Hey everybody,

I am a proud Stay at Home mom. I quit my job to look after my daughter who is now 2 years old. I have no regrets absoluetly about my decision. Infant I am more happy than I was while I was working as I had very little time for my baby.
Is there anybody else like me in thane........I am just making an attempt to interact with women who have taken a break In order to look after their children.
I have heard about this concept of Mompreneurs and would like know details about it.
is anybody willing to be a part of this discussion and provide their valuable inputs?

Hi aks09, kamadu, Pdesai and Thishi,

First of all thanks a lot for writing in and contributing your thoughts in this discussion. I m glad there are people who do take decisions like leaving their careers to look after their child or let me put it as people who willingly take a back step in their careers to be with their children. At the same time I do acknowledge those women who manage both work n children, it's not easy......Hats off to them. Everybody has their own priority in life and I think we should respect that.

I remember when I had decided to quit , people around me said that I was taking a wrong decision and this would probably be just a temp solution to my problem......but still I went ahead and quit becoz somewhere in my heart I knew that being with my daughter, seeing her grow everyday would give me immense pleasure and happiness. I am enjoying every moment with her, I just love dropping her off to school and picking her up taking her to the play area everyday, playing with her and yes sometimes she drives me crazy with her tantrums.......(the troublesome twos phase) but I just love that too....sometimes I feel I'm learning a new concept in parenting everyday!!!!

I do feel the need to do something.....but I m just waiting for the right time n opportunity. I keep looking out for home based jobs but sadly haven't yet come across a genuine one :-(......but my search won't stop here,  I m sure there must be some suitable options for people like us and as and when I get to know something, I will def share it with you all.
take care and enjoy bringing up your tiny tots :-)
