 Dear All,

Can anyone suggest me a good School in Gurgaon, ICSE board with good education. With good education, I DON'T MEAN - AC buses/environ, Lots of extra curricular activities on cost of basics , High Brand name of School , expensive , too much of pampering , International visits, Horse riding/Paraguilding etc ......

Request from parents who have children going to the respective schools for atleast 3 years. Your help would be helpful in making our choice for our 3 yrs old Son.

Rgds,

Mayank

Shri Ram is an ICSE school which is supposed to be good but it's a bit snobbish and tend to provide too upmarket stuffs. The students end up looking like models after Class IX.

Scottish High is supposed to be very good but rather expensive (Rs 45,000/- a quarter) and it will teach the kid a lot of co-curricular stuffs (horse riding etc)

Try  The Banyan Tree World School. It is ICSE Board, very child friendly. Studies at child's pace, good staff, very approachable.

I agree, banyan tree is a good school. they really give personal attention to each and every child as per his / her particular needs and thier teaching methods go beyond just books which gives the kids a lot more confidence, is my experience.

There is also a new ICSE school called "Matri Kiran" at Sohna road. This is one of the so-called "Alternate" or "Progressive" schools - which focusses on a different and project-oriented/ activity oriented learning for children. The principal is ex-principal of Shikshantar, which is arguably the best alternate school in Gurgaon.

This is, at the moment, till Class III and will increase 1 batch every year. Their primary school building (which will be till Class V) is ready while the secondary school building is under construction near Hero Honda chowk.

The fees of this school is approx 32,000/- per quarter.

Agree with Babun371, MatriKiran would be an excellent school for your kid. I have also enrolled my younger brother in 2013 and I found lots of improvement in his study.
