Will appreciate any feedback on the heritage and suncity schools for my kid for grade 8. We are relocating from the middle east where the kids were attending the Indian school that followed CBSE.
Of more concern is admission for my younger son into grade 4. He is very slightly dyslexic and will not be able to cope with the 'rote learning' type of conventional curriculum. Would like to know if there are good schools in gurgaon that focus on extra curricular activies and adopt a more discussion based approach to learning.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Much thanks
Heritage is an alternate school which could be good for your grade 4 kid. They also have special section for Children with Special Needs.
Usually all "alternate" schools have special classes for these children with special needs. The Alternate Schools in Gurgaon are
- Heritage
- Shikshantar
- Matri Kiran
Then there are some conventional schools with a strong focus towards participative / inclusive teaching. These are
- Ridge Valley
- Lotus Valley International School
- Shallom Hills
- Suncity (more a conventional school but very good)
I recommend Shikshantar for your younger child (Grade 4) and Ridge Valley for your elder (Class 8).
