I delivered before 4 months. I have put up weight drastically. And especially being a normal delivery, doctors didnt allow me to tie my tummy due to which it is very horrible to look at the size. doctors are not allowing me to use the fitness cycle(as i have at home) till 6 months. for exercise, she is expecting me to consult with the physiotherapist in the hospital to under take any kind of abdominal exercise.
but i could not find time at all as i dont have anyone at home to leave my kid. can you please share ur thoughts on this as to how can i reduce the weight?
Hi, Dont be panic....and stop worrying about ur increased weight., as ur baby is small and if ur breastfeeding her ....u definately need good nutrition. If ur weight was normal before delivery , u ll reduce weight aotomatically till ur baby will be 1 yr. old. Eat nutrioous food and avoid MORE ghee. Try to be physically active at home and do some normal streaching exercises. (consult ur gyn).
I delivered my second child 7 months ago, but my tummy size has not reduced till date. Can someone pls specify some easy-to-do methods of reducing my tummy fat. I cannot goto the gym b'coz of my kids and office timings.
I have tried wearing tummy belt and even tried wsome exercises for around 2 moinths..Nothing helps. My weight is normal and both of my deliveries were normal.

I am still facing the same problem i.e my tummy size. I gave a birth in Dec2008.yeah its almost 1.5 yr and I am still wearing tummy belt ...........but couldn’t see any big change. I have put on some weight too. Mine was NOT normal delivery. Please suggest some exercise or ways to reduce my tummy and weight. I cannot go to the gym b'coz of my baby and i am working also.
The best way to lose tummy is to do a yogic pranayaama called Kapaalbhati which involves breathing out and pushing your tummy in. Even five to ten minutes on empty stomach early morning shows very good results. Apart from reducing tummy and overall weight , it cleanses the internal system. You have to learn it from a good yoga practitioner /instructor. It is very easy. You can also see Baba Ramdev's CD and do it. This can be done after 5 hrs of meal too.
1.You can also do cycling lying on your back. Lie on your back, raise both your legs and do cycilng in the air. Feel the pressure on your stomach.
2. Do one leg raises (45 degrees) and hold for sometime (count for 5-10) which will strengthen the tummy , leg muscles and lower back too.
If time permits, do some simple stretches or if low in spirits, dance on some tunes free style even if you are not a professional dancer. Imagine yourself as a child and just dance. You can do it when u r alone if you have inhibitions. It is a very good aerobic exercise and will lift your spirits too apart from keeping your weight under control. It can be done after two hours of heavy meal.

i gained 25 kgs. after delivery and my stomach is also quite out.
since i stay at home there is no decrease in weight.
