Second language selection

Hi Everyone, Am currently living in gulf country. Here second language can be opted either Hindi or Tamil but not both and tamil is available in only 2 schools which is not doing great. Let me know if am planning to relocate to India (cbe)in future . How is the second language option in cbe schools. Does tamil is mandatory second language in cbe schools for cbse curriculum?
