@sam20 Haven't got any confirmation yet for admissions into Grade 5 Boys. The statement remains same, No seats for boys and application is in waiting list. In portal the status shows as "Complete - Pending Admission Orientation".

1. Any idea what will be next status on portal should look like, in case of both reject or accept.
2. Do we get a rejection letter formally? Have received a mail as below, does this mean, it's rejected or should I still wait as the status in portal is "Pending Admission Orientation" and they mentioned earlier that it's in waiting list.

Latest Response:
" As mentioned earlier, we do not have seats for boys in class 5 and hence we are unable to proceed with your application.We regret the inconvenience caused."

Previous Response:
" We have received your application. But, we have no seats for boys in class 5 and hence we are unable to consider your application for further steps.We have kept your application under the waitlist so that we can consider if there is any opening."

The status is really confusing and not sure if I should go ahead with other schools as I have already applied for leaving certificate in current school. Can someone please help.

Hi everyone, is anyone from maharastra or kerala who's child admission has been granted in IHS ? As the school has given the check list and guidelines for check in and dropping off a child and in a complete lockdown situation in maharashtra how to do preparation for sending a child in coimbatore.Any suggestions and guidance will help a lot.

Hi Didn't know how to post a specific reply to your inbox hence am replying publicly. Appreciate your need to give your child good education...but must you really part with him/her right now? These days there are lots of hobby classes etc avl which enrich a child's learning experience. Even if your child is learning challenged in any manner, for that as well, there are options avl. Can you not achieve the same quality of education for your child by mapping out the learning outcomes this far -off school has promised to.provide? Take care and best wishes Suman

There has been discussions of traditional vs alternate/holistic education systems etc in this forum. But really surprised that no one has mentioned how hard it is to have to leave the experience of raising their children and the children missing the experience of being brought up by the parents. Being a father of tween myself, I cannot envision myself making the tradeoff for any type of education.

In Sadhguru's own words, the apparent perceived superiority of one education system over the other is borne out of human thought as well.

I am planning to get admission for my son for 5th std for next year. Had few queries regarding hoe classes are being conducted in IHS over the past year, post pandemic.

Are the kids staying in IHS itself and having their classes? How are they handling this pandemic situation? Can any of the parents whose kids are in studying in IHS currently please reply?

Hi, School is conducting online classes seeing current condition of pandemic. School has to adhere according to Tamilnadu govt protocols.

Hi there, I was just wondering how do you apply for Year 3 intake? was there an opening ? since I saw on a website that entry points are Year 1, 5, 8 etc etc ...those who want to enter in other years like year 2 and 3 have to wait for an opening/vacant position? on the other hand someone else informed me that year 2 and 3 are entry points as well and they take 50 students at every entry point ? . I want to send my child at year 3 as well since that will be the next available one . Thanks!

I have made the admission amount and now Waiting for stage 2 which will be interaction with child and parents. Child and Parent orientation has been completed today for my daughter into grade 2. When I checked with them we will only get confirmation by end of January 2022. We have to wait until we hear from admissions team
