Hello Senthil,
in Coimbatore, there is some school in IB or IGSCE syb. yuga bharthi, Indian public school & Ksirs.. as per my knowledge Indian public is not good as per lots of parent feedback in internet and fees structure is too high for standard.
Yuga bharthi would be 50 to 55k per year and admission fee will vary based on your salary grade and school env is good n rich but school is too far from city and extra-cur activities are more n academic wise same when compared to other schools
Ksirs.. you might hear lots of fancy words in school to attract more parent.. school has not yet proved their system, it mean not even 10 is completed yet. and fees is same with other school.

mr. Senthil. you can also consider CS Academy where my kids go. They are starting an international stream igcse next year with cbse existing already.

Hi Senthil

Were you able to get any more info on IGCSE schools. I am also looking for one in Coimbatore and found KSIRS & TIPS to be the closest for me as my son will be going to 9th grade next year. I am still not able to make out which one is the best.

Hi Arjmom,

Since, your son is studying in CS Academy; I thought you could be the right person to give me some insights about the school. I am planning to enrol my son in LKG for the academic year 2015-16. Below are my questions:

1.    Does the school provide equal importance to academics and extracurricular activities?

2.    What is the student â€" teacher ratio in kinder garden classes?

3.    Are the teachers are parents friendly?

4.    Do they have periodical review with parents on child development? How frequent it is?

5.    Do they treat child with care and give them the freedom to learn with fun?

6.    How much is their donation and term fees?

7.    What kind of assessment they have in the selection process?

I am expecting a school, that understand every child is individual and groom them by their capabilities without demotivating them.

Will CS be a good choice?  Or any other suggestion is also welcome.

Thank you.

Hi Prabhu: I went to cs academy today.. I must say impressed. I would suggest you to visit the school in person.. I spoke to executive director of CS Academy.. which gave me more confidence about the school.. I believe they would be able to meet my all expectations I had questioned above.. Regards, Sethu.

I do not know much about Camford.

Sivananda colony to Indian public will be about 20 km? Closest will be Ksrs I think? Camford also close I think from there.

Hello Prabhudas,
I never seen good comments about indian public school, coimbatore.. in other location like erode, they r doing really good but in coimbatore i must say not good..
All schools are same, they talk much to satisfy Parents expectation.. but after class 8, it's all academic just marks..
If you're really looking for kid to e happy in school.. then go to Vivekalaya.. it's too good..
it's state board but kids would be happy till they study there..
- kids speaks good english( which is considered as highly priority one for choosing school now a days)
- kids behaviour is so good and no stress in school
- kids are happy
- only sports are limited.. i hope outside we have lots of clubs to satisfy.
Hope this will be help.
Choose school is depend on objective of you.. so think..

Hello ArjMOM, IGCSE is just another syllabus to cover parents.. if you're kids interested in economics at age of 13 or 14, will you allow her/his to choose economics in grade 10. because IGCSE will have lots of subjects to choose by students itself after class 8.
if your answer is no for above questions, then think about what you want.

Senthil, Where are your kids studying now? My kids too are studying in Manthan.. Planning to relocate to Coimbatore next year. Looking for a good cbse school there.

senthilnathan 2017-08-08 12:24:17

Vasumathi,
I relocated  to Chennai again. I put my daughter in Yuva bharathi public school when I was in coimbatore and I am not satisfied with that school . Please don't expect any school which is similar to manthan in coimbatore . I have seen  many parents that go out of manthan will say the same thing . The only problem with manthan is school affiliation and you also ware of that.

reshmaaa 2017-08-08 14:40:40

What is mantras? First parents I am heating bad review about yuvavharathi what u dint like? Can u share it will be helpful for all here...

reshmaaa 2017-08-08 14:41:19

Sorry typing mistake manthan

fastersaec 2017-08-08 17:19:35

hello Reshmaa,
prakriya vivekalaya is good choice..
As a institution, its good school for kids but no sports at all.

Ksris is also equally good but very large number of kids in std, whereelse vivekalaya will only allow very limited students with one class per std.

Jamz 2017-10-07 12:44:57

Is there any transportation from Prakriya to Singanallur?

lakshmicbe 2017-10-11 06:17:04

As a School experienced person from Coimbatore, here are my thoughts about different schools. Yuva Bharathi, Suguna Pips, CHinmaya International And CS Academy are the ones I would consider for my kids. I have visited all and talked to parents of children studying there. Each has its own positives. If you want International and cbse then CS should be your first choice. If cbse, entrance exam coaching - Suguna Pips has Fiit jee in higher classes. boarding school, CS or Chinmaya. Sports and extra curricular - CS, Yuva, Chinmaya. My kids go to CS.

Hi @lakshmicbe, I am planning to move to Cbe from USA this year around June. I am looking for school for my daughter(will go in 6th Std) and heard good reviews about CS Academy. We planning to put her in Cambridge - IGCSE Syllabus. I have few questions if you or someone could help answering:
a. What is the average fee (Admission fee and yearly fee)?b. Is getting admission tough?
What is an appropriate time to reach out to them for admissions.
Appreciate your reply.
