We got the admission application form from st patricks today (20-Oct). Looking to enroll my kid for LKG. Please share your opinion about the school. The Anglo Indian school seems popular but they follow Matriculation syllabus. Not much information available online regarding the ICSE school.
Hi .. I am also applying for st. Patrick€™s ICSE . I have heard good reviews about the school . Could you please let me know whether we should submit the admission form on the same day and what proofs are required .
I will be getting the form next week as we are out of station .
For those who collected the forms this week, they asked us to submit the filled forms on 22-Oct between 9 - 12:30.
So, most likely, they might ask you to submit the form on next Friday.
We asked if we can submit the forms on the same day we collect but they said that the admin person will be available only during the given slot on Friday to collect the forms.
Proofs required -
Photocopies of Birth Certificate and Community Certificate.
When I submitted our application at the office today, they checked the basic details and alloted a slot on 29-Oct for screening (Parents & kid).
Hi, Can see that they have till class X ...when we can expect them to include class Xll ? Also could anyone share the fees structure of class 1 or LKG ...
How you got the admission form?I have requested for the admission form via email email@example.com
I haven't received any replies yet.
Please let me know how you did?
Did anyone attend the interview today for St.Patricks ICSE LKG.
@BhuvanaAKMom, we also tried to get the admission forms online. But for some reason, the school is making it difficult by asking us to come in person and fill in the forms. I don't think they'll send the forms online. At least during this Covid situation, they should make it online. We too had to travel from our native place and get our forms done. Forms will be available at their office until 30th Oct.
@karthika, I asked one of the teachers regarding 11th and 12th. She said students usually go and join St.Michaels (ICSE) or St.Patricks Anglo Indian (ICSE) based on their preference of board and marks that they get in 10th exam. All 3 schools are within the same campus. Am not clear with the fee structure. If someone has any recent info, please share here.
@Ravar, we attended the interview today.
Two rounds. First, in a room where the parents are questioned separately regarding their thoughts of choosing the school. At the same time, couple of teachers take the kid away to a corner of the room and ask them to do some activity related to colors or fruits. They ask the kid to identify objects without the parent being around.
Second round of discussion is with the principal who checks our background, house location etc. He also engages with small conversations with the kid like asking to sing a rhyme or identify color etc. Both kids and parents are being evaluated. 10 mins for each round. Let me know if you need more details.
St Michael is ICSE but very very hard to get seat there. St. Patricks Anglo Indian is samacheer. I got the form today and interview is tomorrow for me.
Thank you so much. Before two years there was one hour for the first round. They took nearly 20 students to another room and evaluated.
Hi Chandrs ...but st.patricks Anglo Indian is a CBSE school right...pls clarify..I believe that st.patricks high school is the ICSE one ...
i think its not CBSE. In the website its mentioned as State board and St. patricks did not move to CBSE once the anglo indian syllabus was stopped as against other schools like St. Bede's.
St. Patricks Anglo Indian follows Matriculation board (Samacheer).
St. Patricks High School is ICSE.
Quite misleading names though!
