Below are the documents required by amrita vidhyalaya school:
Community Certificate of the child /parent
Aadhar Card of the child and parent.
Residential Address proof
So might be asked by PSBB since these are basic documents for Pre Kg Admission.
@Tanu, Is community certificate and adhar of the child mandatory for PSBB kk nagar ???
@sinsan, I am not sure about community certificate but adhaar card is required I guess.
I applied in Devi academy they refused to process further since I didn't have my child adhaar.
So I applied urgently and gave them the acknowledgement slip and they agreed to it.
Time is their enroll for adhaar card at nearby center/ bank.
I applied on 1sb Feb and on 9th Feb it was uploaded on website.so fast services now days.
Thanks Tanu. Will do the same.
Few questions and could you clarify?
1. Is Aadhar a mandatory document for child? Did they ask last year ? We've to apply for my kid.
2. Our address on aadhar is in different location(native); but we have valid rental agreement as address proof. Is it also mandatory to change the address to our current location, to give them a proof? Could you guide us please!!
3. Someone had posted that the admission notice might be released by Wednesday/Feb 10, is there any notice posted on the school? Can someone clarify?
Is there any distance criteria for admission?
@Dhas, we didn't get any notification about admission in the website. I am not sure about adhar, we didn't have adhar for our kid. Distance must be within 3km radius as far as I know.
@Sinsan17, how about community certificate for the kid? Is that mandatory?
@kritikrish,All schools have different criteria
So wait for the notification from the school.
1-Some school wants adhaar card for child also, but in some they agree to parents adhaar card also.It will all depend upon school.
2-Even my child adhaar card has different address, but we have rental agreement so this will work I guess.
3-Notification not yet out.
I see that pre-kg is available only in T.Nagar campus and not Nungambakkam
Could someone help me understand what are the classes that TNagar & Nungambakkam branch support?
@Sriram89 I think Nungambakkam has classes from tenth to 12 whereas the T Nagar has from Pre KG to 9th(or otherwise). However, admission can be sought for either KK Nagar or T.Nagar/Nungambakkam cluster. Meaning, the students after 9th grade will be asked to come to Nungambakkam campus.
Now that million dollar question is-when they'll open the admission :)
Called them.. they told by this wk.. only two more days for this wk
Are they taking for lkg? Any idea..
What will be the class strength in each class in PSBB?
Dear All, Did any one applied for PreKg in other school too?
I hv applied in millinium and dav public
Hi Tanu... I have applied for Amrita and PonVidhyashram for my twins. Looks like Vani vidyalaya also admissions are open. Seeing mixed reviews about VV. So skeptical as to apply or not. Any ideas?
@Vj2412, Is it DAV public velachery? any idea if they will accept the community certificate of the father and mother if the child's is not available?
One other query to all... all these schools have the distance criteria.. and each school is in a different area.. how do you all go about this..? I'm clueless.. finding an admission in a good school has become so difficult
Voila! I have also thought about this and the reason of limiting the admission to those area folks is partially acceptable though.
@shree03, Thank you for the information.
I went to vani vidhyalaya last month their admission are open since long. But other schools where you applied is better as per my opinion.
@kriti,I have applied/applying for schools near by my area (within 3km) because that's many school criteria, and apart from that kids are too small to send so far just because school is good
@01Tanu, definitely, won't make the kid travel.. will re-locate if the admission is given.. does that mean if in a area if there are not much good schools, parents are bound to put in those schools..no offense here, just a genuine concern
