Any latest updates or info for the admission?
When I contacted 2days back, they said either through letter or email will be sent in May 1st week.
Thank you. Let's hope for best.
Parents feel free to share here if anyone receives any communications or updates from school. This pandemic is testing our patience to core.
Wish you all safe and healthy.
Hii.. Just wanted to check did we mention the mail ID anywhere? i couldnt find it in the tracksheet.
Even I was thinking of the same
Did we give it while creating user id for filling application?
Of course we did use email to sign up and then proceeded with track sheet and all.
However, I think PSBB will send letters rather as an email; unless if there's a curfew/lockdown before their planned schedule.
If we get SMS at least it will be good.
We registered In PSBB website and that registration is no more valid. Email ids are not in track sheet.
Hope all parents here got admission in other schools as well.
Any reviews on DAV SCHOOL. IS It possible to get admission there.
Called PSBB today to chk for the admission result. Thay said we will get the letter only by June 1st week.
Thanks for conveying it.. Lets hope for the best
It is so far...by then other schools will have started conducting online classes Ÿ™ƒŸ™ƒ
I understand from my friends that last year's psbb admission process went on till September..and not all of them received letters..due to the covid situation last year, the initial batches were thru letters and the latter thru phone calls..I thought they will wrap it up earlier this year, but, it seems its the same story this year too..any case, since most of us would have made alternate arrangements by this time, I think it is a great opportunity for psbb diehards and people who have not made any other arrangements to get seat this year..
Has PSBB still not completed the admission process? I know it's tiring and good that many of us have opted for Amrita/Devi. As @TSDK pointed, it's good chance for PSBB fans ;)
Has anybody contacted the school? Any updates?
Had a chance to talk to the school admin office and they told due to lockdown they might delay it further by 10 days from June 1st.
I think this is the only admission process that will see all waves..started during the end of wave 1, still on with wave 2, hopefully wrapped by wave 3..
For those who are fond/followers/think psbb as so called A grade school and long for the admission there, please read the story of @_kripali and then take a decision. Life is not only about accademic and achievements rather a child should have a peaceful environment to have a peaceful adulthood.
These problem is there everywhere even at home where we miss to notice in such case can it be said that parents are not eligible for shaping our own kids? This is not the issue with the brand PSBB. Haters of PSBB continues saying such quotes now they get additional info in hand. We teach kids how to react in such situations rather blaming any of teh schools
I agree with sinsan17. Life now is very different than what it was when we were in schools. Not only PSBB, but can anyone guarantee this won't happen in any other school? We should educate our children and most importantly ourselves as to how to handle such situations. Getting admission in top notch school, responsibility doesn't end there. Ultimately we, as parents are responsible for our kids and should be prepared accordingly.
In these pandemic times, let's not search for reasons to be unhappy or stressed, instead let's take the news as a lesson and be prepared.
All the best to each and everyone of us to secure a good education and a great life for our kids!! school. Admission is just a stepping stone not the destination.
Cheers everyone!! Stay happy and stay safe!!
PSBB ??? Just a matter of days before the school is closed for GOOD !!! High time its been running only with so called name and internally its all humbug...
I'm just echoing sinsan and Krithika. Nevertheless rest of commotion and noise are just distractions to extort the land/real estate and brand value. #Ifyouknowwhatimean.
@emma I don't know why you think it's an attempt to malign the brand image of PSBB. It's a mistake the school should accept and take steps towards making it a better place for students.
To sinsan's point, yes these things happen everywhere nowadays. But do you believe the school was unaware of all these things for over a decade when the alumni themselves have said they had sent multiple letters to the school? Maybe it's only the current principal and Dean who were unaware. Even if they were ignorant on what happened, i still see it as an administration failure.
I'm not a basher of psbb nor a blind follower, and I don't want to cover up an administrative failure as 'an attempt to malign the image of school'. Infact I am looking for an admission for my son at PSBB this year. I just hope school realises the mistake and takes immediate action when such complaints are made in future. I see this as a wake up call for PSBB.
If the same thing had happened in gulf, the school would have been closed by now. Indians have not only learnt to adjust to everything, but also go one step forward and defend the school on whatever happened.
Harini ji, I'm not or will not be defending the behavior. My point is let the law take its course and while that is happening, I'm respecting the decision which has been taken already by school yesterday.
On a related note, do you think the Dean or internal committee wouldn't have warned or reprimanded the accused staff when the time it was revealed to them earlier? They'd have internally tried to solve this case amicably.
However, there are SOPs they've to abide by if the accusations goes public. As simple as that.
Now the case has been diverted to different agenda for lame reasons and everyone knows what and who the school is /were.
Reiterating, I'll perhaps condone the staff's attitude and report it to management as a parent in a good spirit if i had been there and ensured the culprit is chucked off- if proven guilty; rather creating noise.
@emma ji - I also read and know what action was taken by the school yesterday. It's in the news.
My point is "it's too late now" and should have been done a lot earlier. This incident was already reported to management way back. Read the letter by alumni again so you are aware of what actually happened. It took a big social media outburst for the school to take action.
I don't agree with your statement "rest of commotion and noise are just distractions to extort the land/real estate and brand value. #Ifyouknowwhatimean"
Put yourselves in the shoes of one of the affected parents and think if this incident deserves a negative brand image. If not what does?
Having a brand value doesn't mean you can get away with anything.
As a parent, I cannot expect Chinmayee Sriprada to come to my rescue all the time.
Well said @Harinij88. I totally endorse your views.
And I am very proud that I didn't and will not want my kids to study in this school. PERIOD.
