1. Community certificate necessary?
2. My slot is between 9.00 to 12.30. What is the right time to go to school?
3. I'm applying for my daughter and is it necessary to take her along with me?
4. What about the interview?
I had tracksheet submission tdy. i went at 8AM. Queue was there nearly 150 members. so make sure to be there before 9AM for completing earlier. they allowed to collect token by 8.35AM. process was very smooth. dont take kid with you. its not mandatory. while they are calling for interview you can take. I am not sure about community certificate. because as per my knowledge. they have seen birth certificate and money in one counter. after completing that ID and address proof verification. hope this helps you

1. Community certificate will not be necessary
2. Right time to go to school would be 8:30 am. But as usual, many came by 7:00 AM itself and created trouble to the school staff.
3. No need to take your daughter. One of the parent is sufficient.
4. This is only track sheet submission. If your application is shortlisted, then they will call for interview.

Nothing big.. they will give u a token according to when u come.. u will be called as per token number.. they will check ur tracksheet, birth certificate, parents ID s and then address proof ... and give u a envelope where u will have write your address and wait... u will be called again by another person and they will check all the above once again... and maybe ask u a few questions ( about ur schooling if u r an alumini)... then u will have pay the 500 at a counter close by and leave..

I am staying more than 5 km far away from the school and when I called, they mentioned it is okay. Are they really okay for someone staying so far or is it a wild goose chase?

No, any one is enough. Process is very simple
1. Reach school by 8.45 and get your token
2. Wait for your turn and verify your documents - first level
3. Fill up the envelope with your address and wait for the second level verification
4. Wait for your turn and verify the documents again - Second level
- In the second level, there might be few basics questions about you
5. Pay the process fee in a different counter by handing over the track sheet, envelope and birth certificate photocopy
6. Left the school by 9.20

Does anyone had corrections and they rejected the application on the spot. I heard so, such happened to few.
@anisho they do accept corrections. i didnt see any getting rejected and going back. they insist on supporting docs like EB bill or Gas bill if showing rental agreement.
My slot was from 9-12 today. Since someone told me to reach early i was planning to go by 8. When I reached by 8.10 there were roughly 70 people before me. By around 8.45 they allowed everyone inside. Once you go inside, as a first stage there'll be four tables issuing tokens with rows marked as A, B, C and D. This was the only place were their administration was not great. I never knew which row to stand since all the parents who were well behaved in the queu just went helter skelter to collect the token. Only when I reached the end of the que i understood each alphabet had a slot of application numbers. Say for eg if your application number is 250 you may be in row C which has applications 200-300 or so. So as soon as you reach in, go near the table and check which row you must stand in then stand in the que.
Once you get the token number go to the next stage where chairs are put up according to the alphabets. There'll be 4 rows for a b c and d. Sit in the chair. From here on there's great system. They'll explain everything we'll. Anyway I'll tell what it is here. They'll call your token number like A15 or C20 or so. You need to give the token back to them and proceed for payment. At the payment counters they'll check the birth certificate and the name as per track sheet and take Rs 500 from you. Ensure the name as per track sheet is ditto as per birth certificate.
Then proceed to the next and last counter where they'll check your documents. They'll take the track sheet, envelope which they'll give and birth certificate. They'll verify the adress proof and ID proof. Thats it. If you come late your token would be called last you might have to wait for more than 1.5 hours then.
Note:
1. Try to reach by 8 or before 8.15 atleast
2. Carry original ID proofs no need any photocopy
3. Carry photocopy of birth certificate and write the application number on top of birth certificate.
4. Do not make any changes or corrections manually on the track sheet. Whatever changes you want to make they'll let you do at the counter in front of them.
5. Ensure name of the kid is ditto as in birth certificate. Say for eg of the name is Sri Kumar in birth certificate and you write Srikumar in application form they'll make an issue of it. So make it ditto.
Does anyone know how long it'll take for the letter to reach us if we're selected ?
For ppl who are planning to go tomorrow. Try to reach by 8-8:30am. today the 4 groups were based on Reg number. 1-115 group A, 116-** group B, like that. so irrespective of what the reg number is make sure to go early n get first tokens for respective groups. did rough timing for each person. it takes 3-5mins depending on docs verification. i went by 9am sharp and my number was A-49 and i was there when they called out A2. So it took me 2hrs 10mins to come out from time i took token. But imagine a mad rush and getting token no A-100 like 5mins after i got 49. They would come out only by 2pm. They dont worry on time slots given in the track sheet, for entire set they allow. So go early and spend 1hr or go bit late and spend 2-3hrs.

@ragav86 and @raghavan37 Massive thanks for the info. Are you sure no need to carry photocopy of address proof? and what they said if we have only rental agreements and don't have any supporting proofs?
Actually I have applied for T Nagar. In T Nagar PSBB, it took only 35 minutes for the entire process to complete.
@Sarah they check original of address and ID proofs they don't take any copies from you except birth certificate and the track sheet.
Apart from rental agreements better to take some other proof like some utility Bill's or something
In my case they got my aadhaar photocopy and kept with them. So better take some photo copies of address proof too. Along with birth certificate track sheet they got my aadhaar copy too.
Hi frnds..can any one help me with grade 1 admissions...can u plz tell me if grade 1 admissions are on..
Hope no other changes are required on track sheet the following:
1.Mom dad signature along with date and names on blocks
2. Affixing photos of parents on page 2
3. Kid's pic on page 1.
Anything else to be mowed on track sheet? Please confirm.
One more crooked thing is my address is miss spelled in track sheet. But that is also ok as the area name has so many Akas. Would that be fine? Help will be very much appreciated
For past two years I have been living in kk nagar whicha own house but registered in my fathers name. My EB bill is still on his name. But i have a legal rental agreement copy dated exactly from the day i moved in. Is it acceptable?

Reached school by 7.45am and there were approx 30 parents waiting in queue.
Small error in address shud e fine since u wud be giving them a self addressed envelope for them to send the selection letters to you...
Regarding the EB bill not in ur name... rental agreement should be fine.. better to have something else to support it... if u have a gas connection in ur name for the address it shud do... cause I showed them my latest gas connection bill only..
How did it go today? Anybody there. As far as the stats goes almost 2K applied for 300 seats? When will we get the intimation?
