Jawahar vidyalaya is a indeed a good school which follows cbse pattern.  one of my friend son is studying LKG in jawahar, the feedback i got fromher was good., they teach the children good habits, and discipline is also maintained., and activities, and curriculum is also good., but the thing is it is crowded in the higher classes i learn., if u want i will get u her number so that u can talk to her and learn the feedback but overall it is good

you can either call the school or send an email to my friend., i do not know whether they have any branch in keelakatalai, to my knowledge they don't hv/.

in nanganallur i.e very near to keelakatalai, modern senior secondary school is their which is a very good school following CBSE system otherwise, DAV Adambakkam, but that may be far away., i do not know about any other school in the area.,

hi darshini,my son is in 7th now.we admitted him in 3rd though.he had studied his ukg in the school and 1st and 2nd out of chennai.Still he had to undergo a fresh entrance test for 3rd.I think it will be the same process for 1st too.As far as i know.,the application then selection then interview way of admission is only for prekg lkg etc...One more thing is that they keep u waiting for along time and the entrance test will be after the school commences for the new academic yr...they claim That they want to be sure of any TC applicants b4 giving seats to fresh students...most importantly the school isnt a gr8 institution...but tolerable till abt 5th...beyond that its positively bad!!so be sure b4 u decide...

@Sathya KV does not have KG.. it starts from 1 std...

Any idea about the preferences in KV.. like Central govt employees etc etc

They are asking parents to meet their management during first week of December 2011 regarding 2012-13 admissions. They listed this info in their notice board.

Any idea like what is the age criteria for PreKG for the year 2012-13.
