We€™ll be relocating from US to Chennai next year and my son is 6 years old. He€™s currently in the 1st grade here. I€™m looking for good CBSE school recommendations for next June. 2ns language would be an issue for him. Any suggestions / recommendations? Thanks in advance

Hi - My kids go to AAIS (Akshar Arbol International School - ECR campus). They follow International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. 2nd language also includes Spanish so you would not have an issue. The ECR campus is in Injambakkam so your location in Chennai would be key to figuring schools. Did you have any other questions about the school? Happy to provide details.

my kids go to Akshar arbol international school. My son is in grade 2 and my daughter is in grade 1. We moved from the US 2 years back and were looking for a CBSE school. However, we found that my kids were not very comfortable with the CBSE curriculum and the environment. So we got into AAIS which follows IB. Their Injambakkam campus is very good in terms of infrastructure and faculty and my kids love it. I will be glad to help you if you need more details or have questions about the school.

Hey hi. I am happy to provide more details should you need but let me share my experience.

I moved to Chennai a couple of years back. And we don€™t speak the local language neither understand it.

AAIS was the best decision we made for my daughter and let me tell you why -

1. Its IB and modality of learning delivery is extremely personalised and enabling - providing the child to be more accountable and responsible and helping in the overall development of the child
2. The school has a very inclusive culture
3. The additional language is not Tamil
4. The school offers other curricula activities that your child is interested in
