Hi parents, Keep ready with - Recent passport size photos of kid. Recent passport size photo of father and mother. Photocopy of the birth certificate. For verification - Residence proof. Original birth certificate. I'd proof of both parents. wish Ur dream comes true.. best of luck.

Thank you 27abhi for the information. I too planning to apply for Prekg at PSBB K.K. nagar for my kid. Kindly let know on how many parent€™s residence proof to be submitted for admission. I€™m not having voters I€™d or license registered in my current residence. Will it be ok? Thank you in advance.

@krish87 Either of the parent residence proof is enough. I think they accept rental agreement too. They will be checking both parents id proof.

We are moving from the US to India soon. My son is currently in second grade, but does not have any second language at school. We have started teaching him Hindi.

Will it be too hard to cope up? Does PSBB have admissions for 3rd grade? If anyone has previously moved from the US to PSBB, or has taken non-KG admission - please let me know.

Hi all..

We are to get our son admitted in LKG (born on 26.08.2014). We moved to Chennai only in December 2017. Could someone inform if PSBB provides admission into LKG (based on my transfer grounds) for 2018-19. Also would like to inform that we are staying just 600 meters away from PSBB KKN and my wife is not working. What other criteria will they assess for shortlisting.

Thank you @27abhi. It is understood that PSBB doesn't allow admissions in LKG (but only Pre-KG). We have tried meeting the school authorities to explain our case. However, the security guard didn't allow us inside the school and we were stopped just short of being manhandled. It's almost clear that we couldn't get our kid admitted in pre-kg at PSBB as he will be more than 3.5 years by this June.
I request you to suggest a better alternative to this school in KK Nagar. Also invite your views on KV Ashok Nagar, Vani Vidyalaya and Jawahar Vidyalaya.

@satvik2014 Better to go with KV. Jawahar they don't have kindergarten admissions from academic year 17-18. Vani vidyalaya- sorry, I dunno abt this school.
