Hi friends, we will be  migrating from singapore to chennai in june. i am worried about school admissions. i have shorlisted a few schools like headstart learning centre in perungudi and hari shri vidyalayam. can you help me in suggesting a few other schools and also about the above mentioned schools. At present my kids are in an indian international school. I want the changeover for them to be smooth. I welcome suggestions in this regard.

Headstart Learning Centre is run by some excellent people. The school currently offers IGCSE of Cambridge Univ. Two batches have passed out and have done well - including an all India rank holder in French. They will be relocating to a spacious place on the Old Mahabalipuram Road near Sholinganallur, where most IT companies are located. This relocation will happen in 2011. The management is very considerate, accommodates all kinds of children, are flexible about rules... in short good people to know.

However, you might be a little disappointed with the quality of teachers. But that is the problem with most schools in Chennai.
