@ roshi10 : Got to know from school that the shortlist will be displayed on 12th march along with the interaction details. I think they wont call us. They will put on notice board.
Tough call! Both are good schools and board CBSE. Unlike other schools that are academic focussed, Hindu is known for discipline and not much sports activities.
As far as I've heard, the only downside to Hindu is the crowded classrooms. The Management/Teachers are approachable. They don't treat education as a business.Whereas St.Johns I heard is money minded.
Hi All, At St John also i see the class strength around 50, i counted personally when i was standing in a queue for buying application in one of the UKG class. application fee charged by hindu senior very less with respect to john and also registration finally the fee structure given by hindu is very less compared to st john one good thing i know from st john is that they'll enforce you to speak in english all the time so that u can improve your vocabulary a lot and also good writing practice by giving home work
Hi, yesterday i went to school with my kid, the process was simple. they just checked whether my kid was able to find color (at first level) 2nd level (inside principal's room) - they showed a book and asked what it is.. asked about her name, fathers name and mothers name. asked her to sing rhyam
My kids have been selected to Hindu SSS for classes V & VII. Can anyone please give me a feedback of this school. Would the higher class strength affect the attention that the teacher provides to the kids?
what is your expectation? that would help us to provide relevant answer. High class strength is bad but that helps the school to charge less term fees. Though the class strength is high, the teachers are good and they are able to handle it. Nevertheless, believe me! schools and teachers play a little role in offering knowledge. The dedication from students are important as well. Schools with lower strength doesn't guarantee you an academic excellence either. so think about it.
Hi , my kid was not shortlisted in any of the BVM, Hindu, Sankara..given the fact that due to the closeness of these schools I guess 80% of the people might have applied in all these three schools, and there is high chance that people in the shortlisted candidates' list in all these schools might be 20-30% same (as selection criteria are not much different in all the three schools). Is there any information to you that these schools might publish their 2nd list ?
