Thanks for the info.. I too saw the advt.. This school is located is just next to Mambakkam Junction.. Pre-Kg to 6th Std will be started for the year 2014-15.. Applications will be issued from Dec 6th.. Its a 12acres campus.. (big one)

Hi,

I just called the school and staff named Babu mathi picked the call and informed the school admission forms are distributed from Dec 9th onwards.. Construction is in progres and this was the first set :)

BTW that how was the school coaching? Did people have any information. .i heard one branch of these school is from surapet near to ambattur and checked with the school coaching ( he is my collegue and his kid was styuding 1st std) .He mentioned the school was ok and fees are nominal too...

Did people have any updated information on this, Please pass...it will be useful for us...

In the earlier posts, as per @caldera, they are having from Class 1 to 6
But as per @Gopinathnj, they are having from PreKG to 6

Which one is correct?

yes it is from Pre KG to Sixth std. Velammal is havimg many well established schools in matric & cbse in North chennai.
But this mambakkam will be new school(cbse).

application cost is Rs.200. it wil be available from 9th.Dec. after registration, they call for the entrance exam and then only they will disclose the fees structure.
Also, i enquired for transport, they said, school transport is available till guduvancheri.

Most of the CBSE schools will not have affiliation when they start the school. In fact they will mention it as a CBSE school, but they will not mention any thing about affiiliation. But bye the time the first student of batch mostly when they will reach tenth std they will get affiliation. Schools need proper infra to get affiliation. Schools like velammal will be able to get affiliation with their back ground of creating infra, labs etc. If you are putting your kids at lower std like kg,1,2,3 you need not worry about affiliation.

But there some schools claiming as CBSE schools running for many years without cbse affiliation chennai.

I went to the campus , works are yet to complete but staffs are really friendly. 40K is the fee up to LKG and 25 - 40 K will be single time admission charges ( yet to get fixed, this may vary depends up on the demand) , school buses are also avilable. They are requesting to wait till 9th december for evaluating the clear figures on transports and donation.

School has a very big ground and a vast spread around campus of 12 acres. CBSE approval is in place.

Are you sure whether the school is coming up in 12 acres. CSSM (Chennai School of Ship Management) is behind this School which is on 5 acres plot as per their website .

Upraise / Arun chennai @The school is right side to mambakkam junction on the main road itself towards vedalur.

Steep inside they are having land holding , ground is vast and bigger as per school mgmt.

My friends whoes wards are there inside are giving good feedbacks up to level 1 they are normal and after grade 1 they will be tight towards acedamics and other extra curricular activities .reasonable schools with value of money .

I have applied for Pre Kg for my daughter today, I found Velammal is quite acceptable at all assurance they have. Construction is going on and can get finished .staffs are really friendly and holds patience enough in explaining things.
