We are planning to apply to Gateway CBSE. We have collected the admission form and have got an interview with the Principal. We need to bring the completed admission form, Birth certificate and photos. We are seeking admission in Pre-kg for our son.

Have you heard any reviews of the school?

Today i called up and they said wait for another 3 days and then call for getting the admission form... i am looking for 1st std admission for my son..kindly let me know how much is the application form. @ VBajaj1 Friday v went to school and there v met one LKG parent . He was telling like the school is good.. He said some negative reviews abt the management. for LKG there wont be any HWs . he is also impressed with extra curricular activities... only got this much from him...
Im looking for admission for Ist std. Can u pls share in detail regarding the interview.

@Divis Application form cost Rs. 1000/- for Ist std altogether it ll come around 76k. For transportation and uniform have to pay extra

@Divis The forms are being issued. You need to go to the school and buy it from the reception.

Do share about the Interview ...

One of my friend who did an extensive research for his son's admission @ siruseri schools told me that HLC and Gateway are the best in that area ... I guess HLC is @ Semmenchery .... He finally put his son @ HLC and is happy ... He told that Gateway is also very good ..

The Approach road is very very bad for Gateway..... Hope the school management does something on that aspect ...

Hi all,

We attended the interview today for Pre-KG in 2014. The Principal went through the application and asked simple questions like where you stay etc. She asked my son to say something. Luckily, he could identify few things kept on her table.

She then told us that we are accepted and can complete the formalities.

We need to pay the admission fee of Rs 30,000 by 20th Dec 2013 after which the admission will be confirmed. We need to submit the required documents with this amount School starts on 3rd Apr 2014.

Where do you stay and what about transport facilities ??

I guess the approach road is in a terrible state ...

Hi Kiransdusk,

Sorry for the late reply, I didnt check parentree...
Last week when my husband went to collect the application form, they said it will be issued in December only and also to call them before coming to collect the forms. But they gave one registration form to fill that day.
Saturday we went just to see the school and when we asked them again, they gave the Application form for 1st standard.
7th December morning we have to appear for an Entrance Test - Maths and English.
She said it will be basics only and whatever the kid is learning in UKG will only be asked in the written test.

Entrance test timing - morning 9.30 am. They gave the fee structure form as well. Admission fee - 30000, First term fee - 30400, second term -14800, third term - 14800. Uniform fees extra that would be 4225 it seems. Transport extra depending on the area.

Hi Divis,Thank u so much for ur reply. last friday too v contacted thr phone and they said to call this week. Thank u so much for the info.i ll buy appl.form tom .Last sat v went to MVM to attend their entrance test.The test was really tough for my boy as he is following montessori curriculam.They asked to write cursive letters.to write fruits and veg names etc etc...Regarding the gateway entrance test if u have any idea do share with me..
On 22/11/2013 when i got the fee details for 2014-15 . it was 76K .including admission fee of 15000/- I think they have revised..

HI All,

Went to Gateway school and got the appln form ....

1. Approach road was in a pathetic condition ... Don't know how these lil ones go ... Feel sorry for them ...My car was dancing and I need to change the suspension every quarter if I plan to pick my daughter from school..

2. 10 Days back my friend got an information sheet and in that it was mentioned 15k as admission fees and today I got the appln form and its mentioned 30k as admission fees ... I don't know whether its possible to revise the fees like that ... Somebody even mentioned that the fees get revised each year and there is no maximum ceiling .... ( Guess this applies to all schools @ OMR )

3. Even for KG the school is from 9 to 4 ... :(

4. Don't know whether I will put my daughter there ..... Need to rethink about the same ... Sorry for the negative comments .....

Hi kiransdusk, May be the fees is revised in gateway. Dont know how the entrance is gonna be.my son also doesnt know cursive they have just started teaching . Lets hope all goes well.i got mvm appl. but didnt go.let me know when you have the entrance for your son in gateway. Thanks, Divi.s

Hi all , anyone attended the screening in Gateway, Padur on 7/Dec? Kindly add information on the schedule and type of tests being conducted. Whether they asked to deposit the money on the same day ? Are they calling for another tests in the coming days ( I heard that they will call for another round after 7 days) .

@navjyo, We went for the entrance on 7th.No need to submit the appl.form or pay anything.test was for 1hour.They had asked maths and english for 1st std.Dont know for other classes. They said they will evaluate the test papers and call this week .if so we have to meet the principal probably next week.

@navjyo,my son told they had asked to draw a fish,then Abcd,number names and three letter words.my son is not telling everything,so not sure what all he wrote. We couldnt see the papers.we all were sitting outside.the children were taken upstairs to write the test.
