 Iam opted for school transport. Im from Korattur. They charged 6,600/- per term and they pick up my son in morning 7.40 am and drop by 3.15 pm

hi.... It is said that for the first month it is half working day  for the kids.. up to 12 and from the second month it is full working day.. is that true?? coz i didnt enquire abt the timing at school :P .. this one i came to know thro'some other source..

@AnnieMaxwell, Yes... for the first month the school ends by 12pm/12:30pm and from second month it is till 2:30pm... I think from 2nd month kids will be made to sleep for some time after lunch

The school will start at 9 AM but the kids should be their by 8.50 AM.

I have opted school bus for the 1st month if they will leave by 12 noon means the school bus will drop or we should pickup the kids from school do you people have any idea about this.

yes.. we need to enquire bout this.. if school gets over by 12, how should we pick up kids.

Are you giving books for binding or is brown cover enough.

I was thinking of giving books for binding.. Thought of getting your suggestions..

thank u RJKaushika...  even if we arrqange for a private van.. i doubt whether they ll pick up from school at noon..

another thing.. still  my son never has his food by himself.. i dont know how he would do that at school...

you are right AnnieMaxwell.My daughter never has her food by herself. How will she manage till 3:00 P.M ?? That thought is haunting me ..

Any idea whether teacher/helper will help the kid to open their snaks/lunch box. Or do we have to train them before going to school? 

im not giving for binding. I thought of covering the books and notes with brown cover n stick label...

Do we have to send all the books and notes on day 1?? any idea???

 @ Annie Maxwell - You are right. Iam also having the same question Even my son also never eat his food. He is very fusy and I have to run around him to eat the food. He usually takes 30 mins to take the food. But i think the teachers will help.

I read the following tips from other posts. Hope it will give some ideas.

Train the kids to eat with spoon not food, give them small amount of vegetables or small amount of variety rice and fruits to eat with spoon. 

Bought the tiffin box and snacks box before a week and train them to open and close the box and to chose the box that kids easily accessible.

Hello All, My kid got admission in LKG.  We cleared the feed and got the books yesterday.

Happy to see all the parents here

Please dont worry abt our kids having food at school by themselves... even my daughter is of same kind running about and play while having lunch. They will learn by themselves and teachers as well as helper would be there to assist them.

Thanks to harshas for sharing the tips... as said u can get a box that would be easy for kids to open and train them to have food by themselves. Also mark kids name with a permanent marker in all their belongings which they would take to school (bag, water bottle, lunch box and even shoes )

It is fine to cover with laminated brown sheets and not required to bind them as it would be heavy for them to carry

@ harshas , for the first month school bus will ply to drop the kids after 12:30pm so don't worry abt it and more over we need to avail for bus facility before it s getting closed as i got to know that for some route, there are no vacany, so pls hurry up.

 Thanks for your information RJKausika. I also came to know some routes there are no vacancies and I paid the bus fees along with admission fees. BTW where you are put up and im from korattur

First day itself is the book is necessary and the first day what time they are leaving the kids is it upto 12 noon or earlier.

I'm residing at Perambur Loco, Muthukumarappa road...... it is 3-4 streets away from vishrutivmom's home
