Sample interview questions for LKG admission at DAV Girls, Gopalapuram

some schools are preferring to have housewife or stay home mom. (someone has to do the homework or assignments...lol

i applied for my daughter at DAV G'puram.  Even though my house is 1.5 kms, she was not selected. I want to know if any of you applied have got the admission

I got application for the DAV mogappair school. There is no column of asking abt parents Qualification? 

Was the application selected and called for interview or not?

 there is no interview in dav.

while collecting the application they verify

1. address proof

2.birth certificate

if the above 2 is not clear they reject it. 

they had not asked anything abt qualification or anything else

if our kid got admission its our luck....

we'll wait for 13th

really i am much worried of you, even me too got the application form in DAV Moapair and yet to submit by tomorrow, but one of my firend told in this forum that, the accepted voters ID, Ration Card, Driving License so did you furnish the above and rejected for that 1.5KMS , please tell.

 tomorrow only i am also going to submit.  they accept voters id/ration card/ driving license. but inside whts happening no one knows. if anyone of ur kid selected just post ur comments.

I'm  submitted the application form yesterday. Now, I am at mogappiar east and I came to that house last two months only. Actually, this is my father's property and he tranferred this property to me. So, I have enclosed copies of mother document and gas bill only. They accepted this one. But, I am not sure, whether they will select my child.

                In DAV accepting the appln forms is based on address proof and Birth certificate. But the selection process is purely secretive. Atleast if they conduct an interview , we can console ourselves.

Heard that nearly 50% of the seats would have been booked already thru' high recommendations. Some of friends say that thru' lot system they pick the names. So no one is sure on what basis they are giving admission. It the luck/money/recomendation which decides the childs education now a days.

This is Ashwini from Belgium. My son is 3.5yrs old and we live in Belgium. We r planning to come to chennai for good in April for his school. My father is taking care of his addmission procedure like buying application form. They told that they r issuing the forms after nov 20th 2011. And he also insist me to come to chennai for an interview. I need to book the tickets for my journey. Is it possible for anyone who had got theirson/daughter admitted in DAV Gopalapuram last year (2011-2012) can suggest me the actual date for interview that u got for ur kids so that i can guess the date and book my tickets for those 2 or 3 weeks in advance??? 

Also can u let me know  that is compulsary for us to attend the interview?? Pls can anyone give me ur contact number so that i can call and talk with you about the procedure.

DAV School - Gopalapuram

MONDAY - 09.02.2015 TIME: 9.30AM TO 12.30PM & 1.30 PM TO 3.30 PM

TUESDAY - 10.02.2015 TIME: 9.30AM TO 12.30PM & 1.30 PM TO 3.30 PM

FOR ISSUE OF APPLICATION FORMS : DOB OF THE CHILD SHOULD NOT BE BEFORE 01.12.2010 AND NOT  AFTER 01.12.2011.

Gopalapuram DAV no online facility for downloading the form. Parents have to walk into their premises to get a form. 

Address Proof will be similar to other DAV branch. the one i mentioned down copied from velachery DAV website.

Voter Id / Aadhar Card

• Electricity Bill / Telephone Bill
• Certificate of residence issued by VAO
• ID card issued by State Govt./ Central Govt./ Public Sector undertakings
• Ration Card / Passport
• If it is rental residence, copy of ‘lease deed’ from the landlord.
