My son is studying in Navadisha and I recommend that to you. I would rate 1) Navadisha 2) Srishti 3) Abacus.

Hi manish,

Thank you so much for your reply.  Can you share with me the admission procedure and how long before do you have to start applying to get admitted   in 2012.

Pls  kindly help me out with the information  you know.

You can contact them with the online enquiry form in their web site at

http://www.navadisha.org/school.htm

They have some programs for kids starting very early. So if the child is 1 year old, you can enquire.

Can anyone tell me the fee structure in ABACUS and Navadisha?

ptree 2010-07-22 09:56:00

Navadisha says that their montessori is full and no admissions for the year 2011-2012 :-(

Adhithi 2010-07-22 11:46:36

No admissions for any class or the academic year 2011-2012??Or only for the Pre-kg class?

My daughter is studying UKG and I need to change her school for the next academic year.Hence the query.I stay in Srinagar colony and have shortlisted a few schools nearby and Navadisha is one among them.

Please let me know about the admission procedure.

Thanks

Both my sons are in Srishti Montessori and it has been a great place for them to learn and grow. It's a small setup so they get very good individual attention. The child can continue till about 6 years here. Choose the school depending on where you are likely to be located. Before the child turns 3 is when they usually enrol for admissions at Srishti and it is in Nungambakkam.

 Hello,

I am a parent at "Nurture".

The montessori is in Annanagar, near UCMAS. They are a fairly new school in Chennai, but are very popular in Bangalore. My son just turned four years and he loves it there. You can check it out.. I can give you the exact location if required.

Hello,

Based on my experience the best montessori school in anna nagar seems to be Nurture Montessori house of children. I feel the atmosphere is really good and it is a very spacious place. They also seem to have alot of meaningful extracurricular activities like bringing in storytelling experts to narrate stories for children.

Hi,

Can look at  Nurture, by far the best montessori school in chennai in this part of town - anna nagar, kilpauk etc.

You can look at Navadisha, patasala also which also seem to be good in the southern part of city

Hi  Josy,

Could you pls share the fee structure in nurture montessori for KG's

lavanajith 2012-11-16 09:33:57

it is still painful looking for good schools......

When choosing a preschool or montessori school my suggst/ would be to check staff if they have any recognised diploma from Govt recognised institutes.

Many of the preschools simply take housewives and train them for two three months...

the initial years the kids need lot of individual attn. after about 10 years the big schools will be useful,

but until then you can try on reputed preschools in chennai like Navadisha montessori, learning tree and nurture montessori school. After 4-5 std check out vidya bavans school, DAV, etc.

 Best
