bvm global perungudi

Hi, Am also planning to put my child in 2012 for Pre-KG .As far as i know this BVM at Perungudi is the same one as Adyar  in syllabus,curriculum,uniform,holidays ..etc. Stress free education during the primary school is actually a gud thing only as children  can concentrate in many other extra-curricular activities too.

 BVM at Adyar is already a branded school and am sure this one too will work to retain the  BVM name!

 hi, school is good but the surrounding environment is not gud. dumpyard is there very close to school that may effect childrens health.bvm adayar is a parents school bvm perungudi is entirely diffferent.curiculum everything is same but teaching pattern is different.

Pls tell how BVM Perungudi school's teaching pattern is different from adyar

ya the teaching pattern is entirely different from adayar bvm.they say stress free education. no books will be issued to home . we cant know what kids are doing in the school.principal herself told that bvm adayar is a parents school.

    Am planning to put my daughtr in BVM perungudi fro Pre.K.G  as that is the only reputed school near  our residence in thorapakkam.

Any parents of BVM, please let me know if it   is right to  join my kid in this school.

There is a   big dumpyard and sewage near the school that  am afraid may affect the child 's health.

Also I want to know if BVM perungudi provides the  same teaching pattern  as Adyar BVM or different?

Don't they  give any homework or books to kids even for higher classes or only for KG classes?

Are the children studying in BVM  happy with  the classes and teaching?

Parents of BVM children , please guide me.

  My son is studying PreKG in BVM Perungudi. As he is in PreKG, I don't know much abt the teaching pattern. But in BVM adyar too, they wont issue books to home. It's true we dont get idea abt what the kids are doing in school. But my perspective is to give my son, stress free education which no schools is providing now.  BVM students is not given homeworks until 5th. It is really a boon to working mothers. I had heard many reviews abt so called reputed schools which is dumping kids by means of homework, exams. I believe kids should learn at their own pace. That's is the only reason I chose BVM.

  I also have concerns that they are communicating with parents abt what kids are doing in school. But  at the starting itself they told, dont compare BVM kids with other kids. Ultimately my son enjoys going 2 school. He really enjoys his schooling. But rest I can judge only after he goes to higher classes. But I believe BVM Global also will turn out to be one of the best schools as like BVM Adyar

 hi  my daughter is studying in bvm global she is in 1st class now.even i am planning to shift my daughter to other school because of dumpyard and i dont think this type of stress free education will be good .they say ur child will perform everything from 5th standard.when the pillar is not strong how can u expect the building to be strong that is my view.no exams till 5th standadr so how will the students study .

If there is no exam ,  Do they keep atleast  any weekly/monthly  tests or not ?

Do the children read   books only in school or no books in school also?

Does ur child know abt all her subjects  in  the first class?

How does the way of teaching differ  in BVM Adyar?

  They will conduct tests to assess the kids. Students in BVM will be provided 2 sets of books, one they will keep in school itself.

  As per my knowledge, the teaching pattern is same in both the schools. Dheeps, for this u can clarify with parents of BVM Bollineni. BVM Perungudi only is getting lot of reviews because of that location. But BVM Bollineni gained a very good reputation within a short period. Kids wont be stressed doesn't means the school is not providing any subject knowledge.

If u wish to join ur kid in BVM Global, u can clarify all ur doubts with the school management. They are ready to help. U can visit the school and meet the teachers and then decide

 hi they will give assesment tests. i hope bvm adayr will provide 2 sets of books but my daughter in bvm global has nt got second set. they gave only one set.academics teaching is not so high. any way just talk to the staff u will get some idea

hay. i think what ever devi is saying is true. I have joined my kid on vijayadasmi this yr at pre kg. And he is really happy to go.. ... very 1st day principal was very clear abt there system of education. And she told me the same. " dont compare ur kid with others... and if u r not at all satisfied with the system of no exam till 5th std, dont put ur kid here'....

and i put my kid...

but cant hide the fact ... am really really concern abt the location...though school management stuff says everything is under control.... but still.... if if the STP dont follow the rules properly ... then..... ?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really wondering how you parents dare to send your kids to BVM GLOBAL school very close to the Garbage area. I agree BVM Global is a fantastic school, but Please think:

1) Can you stand outside of the school for 30 minutes without closing your noses. See how many of you closing your nose while leaving your kid in the school? How your kid can play in that area? You kids health is slowly affected. Where is your next generation ...? Both of you parents work only for your kid, but you are leaving your kid in Garbage area, affecting the future health of your kid.

2). Whoever argues this please stand in the school entrance between 7:30 am to 8:30 am and tell your argument. Really you people have to feel ashamed. The air is totally polluted, no matter whether you kid study in AC or non AC, the air circulated in the highly polluted air. Please, please think of India's next generation.

2) The school environment shall be a non-polluted area where your kids health is more important than study. I understand BVM GLOBAL is the best school, but is it at the cost of your kids life and future health? If your kid is above 13 years, you may leave him/her, but at the very young age 3,4,5....please think. Do not poise your kids health.

Please talk to the school management. Decide one day and do protest in the road to stop Garbage lorries coming in at least during school hours. If you do not do this, remember you are not sending your kid to shcool but to......

Hope you understand. Seeing the kids daily my heart cries for their future, so I am writing this. Please, please please think before you leave your kid everyday.

Though I stay in Mumbai, I totally agree with Parthasarathy.  Good education at the cost of HEALTH of the kids is of no use. PRIORITIES are to be defined by us for our kids. And believe me such environment causes a lot of trouble in future.  So stay away from such schools and look for environment safety first.  If everyone thinks on same ground the school will have no other alternative but to look for good place and they will definitely do it considering the big business education is today.

Secondly no exams upto 5th, no homework,books at home etc seems to be boon to all/working mothers at this stage, we may have to pay a high cost in future (after 5th std) when we really come to know what our kid knows.  And altimately in the outside world u have to compare though you may avoid it at this stage. Later only the cometency matters.

I do totally agree with Parthasarathy. Last week we went to see the school. When we entered Perungudi Corporation road itself we could feel bad odours. Can't stop closing our nose. School is very near to dump yard. Can see the dumpyard from school. 100-200mts from school. Immediately we turned back and dropped the idea of looking for pre-kg admission for my kid in BVM Perungudi.

Any updates on the dumping yard issue? What would be the breakdown of 1.4 L? Donation (one time) and annual fees (every year)?
