Hi Chennai parents,

Greetings!!!!!!!!!

Do anyone of u have idea about the new / budding school at Thaiyur, OMR, named "Jagannath Vidyalaya"?????? We once visited the school 2 months back.......few classes, good looking............how about the toilets ..........still under construction? What about the quality of the teachers recruited & their standard of teaching.

Especially , please share ur ideas about the parents' access to the school management in case of any discrepancies with regard to the books, uniforms, school toilets , tranportation etc etc.........

We have plans to shift to OMR...............Please share ur experience and comments abt the school.

All other schools on OMR are of international standards (Sushil Hari, Gateway, BVM etc etc) in extracting money from the parents in lakhs..............

Awaiting all ur responses,

bye for now........

Hello ,

Jagannath vidyalaya is an average school as per review I got from my friend. Kg level standards R good..Kids must need parent's training too when they move higher classes. Otherwise school is doing their best to improve their quality..

FYI, all the newly started schools in OMR are of same standards..psbb seems to be better but admissions R very tough it seems.

Just an average school, they just showcase all the things, but in reality there is none. If the student is average in any one subject, they just leave it. If we insist to take some extra care or ask them to give few home works, they will just say 'we will take care', but actually nothing happens. And transportation is very costly, the fees is Rs. 8700/- for a single term and the distance from home is just 8 kms. Third important thing, we need to pay first term fees of around 40K if we apply for TC after Feb 10th. This is the worst part.
