Hi Chennai parents,
Do anyone of u have idea about the new / budding school at Thaiyur, OMR, named "Jagannath Vidyalaya"?????? We once visited the school 2 months back.......few classes, good looking............how about the toilets ..........still under construction? What about the quality of the teachers recruited & their standard of teaching.
Especially , please share ur ideas about the parents' access to the school management in case of any discrepancies with regard to the books, uniforms, school toilets , tranportation etc etc.........
We have plans to shift to OMR...............Please share ur experience and comments abt the school.
All other schools on OMR are of international standards (Sushil Hari, Gateway, BVM etc etc) in extracting money from the parents in lakhs..............
Awaiting all ur responses,
bye for now........
Some of the schools in that vicinity are
distance from Kalavakam
Jagannath Vidyalaya - about 4.5km, CBSE, Thaiyur - 55K yearly - upcoming-admission might be in progress
Sushil Hari - about 9km, CBSE+State(11, 12) - Kelambakam - 15K yearly approx-admission started
Gateway Intl - about 10 km-CBSE - Padur - 75K+ Y1-admission started
Hiranandani Upscale - about 12 km -CBSE Egattur - 1.3L - Y1(40K refundable deposit)-admission started
PSBB - about 13km-CBSE-Siruseri - admission only if close to the school - 5km radius - admission started
DAV-Ceedeeyes - Chennai Pattinam-CBSE- Admission only for inmates-owners/on rent - not for outsiders
Jagannath vidyalaya is an average school as per review I got from my friend. Kg level standards R good..Kids must need parent's training too when they move higher classes. Otherwise school is doing their best to improve their quality..
FYI, all the newly started schools in OMR are of same standards..psbb seems to be better but admissions R very tough it seems.
