Hi parents
Has anyone taken admission for their child at Bala Vidya Mandir (Nandi Woods)? If so, then what were the factors that helped you decide?
Thanks in advance
Hi Cinderella, Thanks for posting this!!! Even I like to know more details about this school. Am planning to join my kid in LKG in the academic year 2013-2014. When are you planning to put ur kid?
HI Cindrella and Anu,
If you get any info about this school please pass on.I am looking for admission for my kid in 2012.
Hi Anu, Archana
My kid will be joining LKG in 2011. Since the school is opening this year and will surely have some teething problems during the first year, I am unsure whether to put her in that school. If not this year, then based on how they fare I might put her there in 2012. I have heard some good reviews about the school in Chennai but am unsure how they will fare here.
Do you stay near the school? We stay off Bannerghatta Road and I am worried about the transportation and how long my kid would have to travel.
What have you heard about the school ?
Hi cindrella,
I just went through your discussions about BVM school. Have you got some first hand information about BVM recently. If yes, pls share it as I am looking for admission for my daughter for LKG.
Thanks in advance,

hi puneeth,
i went to bvm nandi woods yesterday for my daughters admission for ukg.
school is good. they have procured more land nearby for future expansion also. they are charging 40K as refundable deposit+ 25k admission fee+ 36 tuition fee. they will teach only alphabets and joining dots and simple learning till lkg and for UKG only from 2nd quarter they will practice writing.
but i am not joining my daughter. compared to other schools cbse syllabus, its more relaxed. i feel kids should learn their syllabus in a playfull method. but it should not be too playfull. this is my personal opinion.
Hi gannamani,
Thanks for the info. even v visited the school and I also felt same about the teaching method as she is already doing joining dots in nursery itself. I felt charging refundable fee is too much and i think they only want to grow their school. Refundable fee as far as i know no schools takes(i feel it is unnecessary) in bangalore and 40k is too much!!

hi puneeth,
i am basically from A.P. So from the views of hyderabad people, sri chaitanya is good for higher standards. mostly for kids who want to get in to medicine. From 7th standard it is a good option because extra curricular activities will be less and study part will be more. but for primary kids, extra activiities are more important.
i am not aware of sri chaitanya's performance in bangalore but in andhra pradesh they score more ranks in medicine and engineering. they give first priority to studies and how to get ranks.....
