Hi,

My kid attended the LKG interview last year. Its all basic questions like

* What is your name? Which school are you studying? Your father/Mother name etc

* Color & Animal identification

Today i attended my sons interview at NHPS for Pre-Nursury(all who applied in siblings category were called) , same the above mentioned questions were asked.

Last year for my elder son he had some writing along with this.

Writing for LKG/nursery?

My child is 2yrs 4 months now. We got a date for 30th nov for interview. however she does not know any writing except cirles/lines and very basic aplhabets like A and L and K.

I wonder if children know writing at this age. and if yes, what are the specifics? other parents of elder children, pls share.

I wonder my son can answer if strangers ask any questions to him. In that case, how will they manage. any idea? and what is the fee structure in NHPS? on what basis, they select children?

No writing for prenursury..its only for LKG.

Last year the kid was taken alone to to the interview room but this time they allowed one parent. Its good beacuse my son would have started crying and would not go alone with strangers and answer to their questions.

Even my daughter has attended interview on 25th in NHPS under sibling category for Nursery.

As they mentioned, i am waiting for results and expecting a call before next monday (Nov.1).

This was last year (2010-11) fee structure for Nursery.

Fee in NHG

Dev Fee - 20K

Admission Fee-20K

1st Term - 20880, 2 nd Term and 3 rd term 13500/- each. Total 87,880/-

Fee in NHPS

Dev Fee and Admission Fee = 50K

1st Term - 15880, 2 nd Term and 3 rd term 11000/- each. Total 87,880/-

Yest. I happen to meet  one of my friend whose son attended interview at NHPS last week for LKG.

They had a personal interaction with the kid in one room, first thay asked general que like,

- What is ur name/ father's name/ Mother's name etc.

- What is Penguine colour?

- Some wodden puzzle they gave him to solve - like blocks

- A - Z  and 1-20 writing

This all info I got.

Wow.. Writing test for LKG students ...

I've applied for UKG and am now worried about the amount of writing tests in the interview for UKG. Any details on that.

Today i enquired in school and they said, results will be announced on Nov. 10th.

Even My dot appreared for the interview for LKG last year but she wasnt asked to write anything.

Ya i dont think they'll make them write .Accordg to what ive heard they'll ask Names-of Parents,school,friends etc.,identification of colors and shapes .Names of fruits,veggies and animals .I ve applied in NHG..Interview  is on the 25th of Nov.waitg ..fingers crossed!!!

Ive also applied in NPS Indira ngr ..No hope..They've already told me that my son's  too old for Nursery (he'll be 3.9 in June)and he wont get admission in LKG becoz he wont be 4 in june :(.

I haven't received any call. My wife is in touch with two other parents. Even they haven't received any call so far.

But i heard that, yesterday they called parents, who opted for NHG.

Just now I called them. She said, yesterday they called all parents, who are selected. And others are not selected. You can also cross check.

 I have got interview dt on 3rd Dec for LKG open quota. Is there anybody with same situation , please inform .  Do u think that there is possibility for admission ? or i should look other schools ?

Do have backup plans for other schools as well regardless of the date. You'll never know.

I have applied DPS also and they  not yet declaired the dates for LKG open quata.       I think i may have to wait for Bhishop cotton and Sophia .  Do u have any idea ???
