Hello Parent, can anyone suggest which one will be better way to start education for my 2.5 years child. Weather to start nursery from a pre-school and then putting in a regular stream school from standard one.? OR  directly to start education from nursery in a regular stream school ?

The best option would be to put your child in a preschool first and then switch to nursery/LKG in a regular school for the next academic year (2020-2021).... If your kid is 2.5 now, then he/she should be 3.9 by June of next year...So start researching good schools in your area and check out their age criteria for nursery/LKG in 2020....Getting admission for std. 1 is quite difficult in Bangalore.

Putting the child in a preschool first will allow him/her to get acclimatized to the school routine....Even if it€™s just for a few months.... Preschools are, in general, more caring, and will take the time to make the child comfortable, handle potty training, teaching to eat snacks, etc. In regular schools, the focus will be more on academics than teaching kids the basics of the school routine. That said, you could put your child directly in a regular school, but the child might have a steep learning curve initially.

Hope this helps...
