@Vikson same here, we are also both working and kid goes to day care. Updated the same during interview too. So seems like their main criteria is kid's performance in test. If its all good, then interview is just for formality. However if the test performance has some areas of improvement then the interview with the kid is being counted I believe.
Guys stop now... many congratulations.... but don't be so mean & biased. Please bear in mind ratio of shortlisting to selection. It doesnt mean they didnt do well or behaviour was bad. IMO yours analysis may hurt all the parents who's kids couldn't make it. All the best.
@ allr1, dont feel bad, even my kid was not selected after the test, it doesn't mean like kids who got rejected are hopeless.. the sad part is judging a 5 year old by giving test and pressurizing them or making pressure tolerant at this tender age.. each kid is different, and assessing all the kids with one methodology is not right.
Well said Smitha.. as parents we very well know that this entire procedure is a black box.. nobody is fully aware of their selection criteria. More so, I feel the pressure is on parents more than kids. The kids looked happy when they came out of the test.. hopefully we parents should not pass the tension of these on the kids..
Anyone got results for CBSE MLS campus. Since when the interviews are going on.
@allr1 and others I just put the message, on what I perceived as the school's selection criteria which might help other parents referring to this forum in future. Also please note that I havent commented whether the system followed is fair or not. Also really didnt mean to hurt anyone. FYI I have an elder kid who goes to a different school he is doing good there and we have no regrets.
There is nothing to feel bad in case of not being selected in this school. It's just a matter of competition and one has to be in and some one else takes/finds even better option.
Main thing is everyone is unique and cannot be compared to others and let's not think much.
All great Madam appreciated your inputs for future applicants. I have taken on right spirit. However, I presume for now the most visitors might be the one who are either still waiting or didn't make it. So a requested a little sensitivity towards them.
did anyone create a whatsapp grp??
@manswami We had our interaction on 13 Feb. We were told that 14 Feb is the last day for interaction with Principal for Class 1 CBSE at MLS. I'm not sure when the interactions with principal began.
@Parent2019 thank you. We had our interaction today hoping for result tomorrow.
@manswami How was the interaction? What did they ask you and your child? Ours was very short and brief. Any idea when the interactions with principal started for CBSE at MLS ?
@Parent2019 It was very short for us as well. Asked few questions to kid on what you like etc and to us where you work.
I see in this group few messages on ICSE interviews happened on monday. so I guess they would have started CBSE on Tuesday(12th feb).
Thanks Parent2019 for sharing the fee structure
No, but i want to for icse kids... Msg me ur number
Looks like those who opted for ICSE MLS have got good success than CBSE in the interview because the available seats are more.
Maybe CBSE has less seats and those opting for DKS CBSE is still worse
Are the results for MLS CBSE Interview out?? Anyone??
Good Luck Everyone!!
