Little change in NPS admission procedure :

An interaction with the admission panel before the final results. 
Pre-Primary Section (No entrance tests) 
Class 1 (No Entrance Test) 
Class 2 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 3 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 4 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 5 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 6 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 7 (English and Mathematics) 
Class 8 (English, Mathematics and Science)

      I was informed that the entrance test will be starting from 29th september ,and will be held in batches 
      from the following  months .

There are no updates on website about this change. NPS indiranagar doesnt conduct tests for class 1.  Can you please clarify how you got to know about this change in the procedure?

If the tests are going to be held in the school and if its under construction...then it may not happen in near future.....

Entrance test and discussion of NPS Whitefield will happen in other branches. Only thing they should not conduct tests during Dusshera festival. As many parents travelling to native on a planned trip.

Could you please confirm whether the entrance test for 2019-2020 already conducted in  "Fortune Select Trinity"? If yes, for which grade they did?

We didn't get any communication related to that.

Parents who have applied for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th std were intimated last week and the entrance exam was conducted in Fortune hotel on 29th September. We are not sure when they will get back to us!

Following are the informations floating in NPS sites irrespective of branches.

As per the policy and directive of CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), we have the following guidelines for admission. Even the department of education follows the same.

  1. The first priority is for siblings. Applications from siblings are usually more than twice the number of seats available.
  2. The second priority is for children of our teachers and other staff members.
  3. Priority for admission is also listed for alumni of our school. As you are aware, NPS has been functioning since 1959. Children of the alumni group are also many.
  4. The next preference is for the nationally mobile group, including central services and other transferable services of India.
  5. There is also another category of people who are internationally mobile coming from schools outside India. Bangalore is seeing a large number of this migratory group who are seeking admission to NPS.
  6. Now the government prioritises admission for minorities from different states of India to promote national integration. 
  7. Applications for admission to KG II are not accepted as there is no vacancy. In other classes admission will depend upon the vacancies likely to arise on account of withdrawal due to parents€™ transfer.

hi all, even we applied for grade 1 and got a call from nps Whitefield for an interactive session.its in ITC fortune select trinity. we are still not sure about this nps Whitefield is a good option for kid or not,first of all its franchise,secondly construction is still going on,so kids wont be able to use any facilities as promised in their website.Thrid thing is inexperienced teachers and staff. parents if anybody planning for this school,pls help me clearing my confusion about this school.

I see that for initial days the payment mechanism(1000 Rs) was different and later they moved to some other website where we need to create account and then pay.  Wanted to check whether anyone got call based on old way(explara website)
