You can try in Glentree Academy...a school with no frills but certainly a second home for your kids.Academics and beyond academics are superb
You can add PNC Cognitio School in your list too which started last year, 2017-18. Just have a school visit and then can decide the best for your child. Currently my child is studying 8th grade at PNC.
Thanks for the reply.
I have a 13 yr old Son and 4 yrs old daughter.
Here I am sharing wherever research work i have done so far which might help for Parents who are looking for a good CBSE school in Whitefield and not able to decide which one to go for( like me).
So here goes the story,
I have visited to almost all the CBSE schools in whitefield area and most importantly it all depends on which area you are staying and how far is the school from your place. For me I was looking for with in 4 kms.
The list of CBSE schools i have found in terms of study, Fees structure and Infrastructure,School staff, cleanliness.
1- Vydehi school of excellence ( very good infra,Friendly staff, Extra curricular actives, also they have Sanskrit/French as 3rd language insted of Kannada)
2. Deens is very good too but it is always lucky draw and they don't allow middle session admission.
3.Chrysalis is equally good like Vydehi only reason i didn't choose because of the distance,
4. Euro kid also good but the price i found is little more.
5. DPS is good but overcrowded and the buses were coming very early in the morning which is difficult for me to make the kids ready.
5.Rest Ekya,Sri chaitnya all those schools are there but I won't prefer .
Apart from all these there is Ryan international,Greenwood international all these school are good but these schools are for the parents who can afford more the 2.5 lacks P/A.
I am living in Hoodi circle. so mostly all the school buses are coming to that area apartments and near by apartments like
Hopefarm. Borewell ,Brooklyn, ITPL, all those areas
Finally after all the R & D ,i have choose Vydehi school of excellence(VSE) for my kids. But One thing what i have noticed after discussing with all other school parents everywhere there are Pros n Cons.No school is perfect .
Thanks for your detail review I have recently moved in to Bangalore this review is quite helpful. I was also thinking for Vydehi
Thanks JA78 for sharing the details. I have short listed Vydehi and Ekya for my kids. I found that Vydehi doesn't have much extra curricular activities as compared to Ekya. On other side Ekya doesn't have play grounds for bigger kids like 7+Grade.
Can you please share your views that why you didn't like Ekya when you compare it with Vydehi. Please share your views, it will a great help.
Also i found that in Vydehi Sanskritr or Kanada is 3rd language till 8th standard.
Vydehi is a good school.they have lot of activities happening in the school.teachers are also good.they don't look money minded.
I have recently mailed to NPS coming up in Whitefield for UKG. Got a call from them to tell that they are starting admission sometime in September. YOu can check it out as well
Hi Mommy0,I have also visited Ekya. It is also a Good school but Some Pros n Cons i found .
1-The fees structure was little on higher side compare to Vydehi
2-They don't have big play ground like Vydehi and also they don't have Sanshrit as third language i guess,Because my son is in 7th grade and already lot of pressure,so just didn't want to again go for a new language like French/Germany.Since he knew Hindi,Sanskrit would'be bit easier for him.If you compare extracurricular activities. then as per my knowledge most of the schools have similar kind of Extra curricular activities.I want to add one more info here-If some one looking for Gopalan Internatioanal vs Gopalan National then Please go for Gopalan National(GNS).Both follows ICSE but Faculties and academically GNS is much better.Thank you. Please feel free to drop me an email in case of any firstname.lastname@example.org
THanks much Ja78s1. It was a great help.
I am the same situation as you. I am staying near hoodi. Me and my husband have shortlisted the same schools. But we have not visited any schools as we are not in India. Have your kids started in vydehi? how is your experience with admission? I am looking for my daughter in 1st class from next academic year. Please share your experience. It will be very helpful for us. We will be reaching bangalore at the end of november only. I am not opting for DPS,Euro,Ekya atall. I recently found out that NPS whitefield is starting but its not managed by the same team. it's a franchaisee.
Can you please let me know the fees of vydehi and wgs
is your kid going to pnc cognitio?if so which grade?
