Hi,
We are looking for good CBSE schools is Bangalore. After much effort NPS, DPS, Air Force school seem to be viable choices.
It would still be worth it if we could find more schools in Bangalore. We prefer that the class strength be close to 25-30 and not more. And also that other than strong academics the school also encourages sports and extra-curricular activities.
Please respond!

hi..
My daughter is studying in Navkis Education Centre, Gokula near mathikare..
its nice.. class strenghth in my daughter's class is 27. and in all classes it doesnt exceed 30. class rooms r also really big.. they have transport facilities also..
they also teach Yoga, Slokas and art for my daughter.. there r many more extra curricular activites differing to the classes.. u can chk the website
www.navkisedu.com . im satisfied with the school.
Thanks for your responses. I am looking specifically for CBSE schools. Location is not an issue. We are open to shifting whereever is closest to the school we choose.
Thanks once again and hoping for more interaction.
Schools in and around Bannerghatta Road and South Bangalore: BGS NPS, Presidency School, Brigade School at Millenium J P Nagar, Kumaran's Children Home (Tata Silk Farm), DPS south
HSR/Sarjapur Road: Freedom International, NPS HSR layout, GEAR Foundation School, DPS East
As far as South Bangalore/Bannerghatta Rd, you can add PSBB to the list. They are still evolving, but you can check out the campus.
If you are looking for Pre-KG admissions, you need to check the campus accordingly as in places like PSBB or Kumarans the campus is different from primary onwards.
Kumarans is a good school but for primary the class strength is closer to 40. Don't know about Nursery section.
Presidency as far as i know is CBSE.

Hi... Kindly provide some more information how is NAVKIS & Admission procedure. How much i need to pay if i want to join my child in LKG ..Thanks in advance..
hi ramanasap.. Application forms r issued on october 29th. my daughter is in L.K.G now. There will be an interview for kids and parents. for parents its very general.. it wil be about ur child, u and ur expectation from school. this will be in writing. for kids they will ask to sing rhymes, identify fruits, animals like tht. it will be easy only.. immediately they will let u know the result...
Fees- admission fees 50,000 one time. and tution fees is 40,000 per year. uniforms, transport and shoes extra..
its worth paying. school is good and im satisfied.. they also take good care of the kids. extra curricular activities are also taught by professionals. campus is also neat.
U can go and visit the school to get an idea.
btw where r u put up??
Does anyone have details on the distribution of admission forms for schools in Bangalore ?

Hi
I stay in Kodihalli ( Near Indiranagar) , My son is will be 3.5 yrs by June '11(His DOB is 27 Jan 2008) . I am not sure if I should join him in LKG by this Jun 2011 , People say he is eligible only by June 2012 .
He is going to a play school near by , I have planned to keep him in the same school for Nursury also , Is that right. Can I wait for June 2012 for His LKG Admission ,
As I am new to Blore , I am not aware of schools and their age criteria . Please advise good schools near by and also their age for LKG admission
So that I would atleast start trying now for his LKG admission
hi Nanndy..
regarding age chk this www.parentree.in/groupdiscussion-4198/October-Born-Losing-a-Year-in-Academics.html
u decide in which school ur gonna admit ur kid and enquire in tht school regarding the age..
there r some schools which give admission only for nursery.. so i advice u to visit the schools which u have in mind so tht u get an idea..
