Hi,

I am scheduled to join a company in last week of January. My office is located at Manyta tech park (Nagavara area). My requirements are:

1. I am looking for my daughters admission in class 2. Also, looking for sons admission in UKG. will prefer to have both kids at same school.
2. School to be formally approved by either CBSC/ICSC.
3. within 5 to 7 KM distance from Manyta area.
4. Any Christin/missionary type school is preferred. else  whatever will work.
5. personally am not a follower of the believe that very high school fee ensures great education. My focus is more on good eduction at reasonable fee.

I am sure people will come forward to share their information and knowledge. Thanks in advance

Thanks for your input @bgopalan.

I spoke to one of my contacts in Bangalore today morning. she was also mentioning about this Euro school. Few things that I want to clarify:
1. Going through below post on this site itself (parentree.in) I understand that this Kogilu facility came up very recently and before that it was in some other place (Jakur, I guess). Is it safe to conclude that no further shifting of location or shutting down risk is there?
http://www.parentree.in/India/Bangalore/6636-any-feedback-on-euro-school-jakkur

2. This is a chain type school with shops all over India. Anyone has first hand information/insight about autonomy at local level? is the local management in a position to make decisions, address grievances, accomodate suggestions etc.?

Couple of other good schools that are on my radar now for this area are:
  • Royale Concorde International School (either Kalyan Nagar or Yelahanka)
  • Jaigopal Garodia Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra (either Ramamurthy Nagar or Kalyan Nagar)
  • Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra (Thanisandra main Road)
  • DPS North
Will appreciate some insight on any/all of above.

I'm putting my son into TRIO world Academy for his 5th grade. I was hoping for Vidhyanikethan/NPS kind of schools but it is very hard to get in from US so hoping to try next year.

Hi,
I am also planing to take admission for my 6 year old kid in 1st std. I have googled several schools and confused with negative reviews. I request any parents near to this area please suggest your views. I need a school with proper care and handling (without beating) of kids.
Thanks and Regards

We are moving to bangalore with two kids - 1st grade and UKG. Pretty new to the area. Looking for decent schools around with minimal travel. Considering both hebbal and kalyan nagar. Any first hand info? Where do your kids go? RCIS- not many people have heard in our friend circle. Is it a good genuine school? DPS , NPS, etc are all clustered in Yehlankala. Too far SSRVM , trio world- any reviews? Much appreciated.

Kids29 and TarunS - seems there are many families moving in to this part of Bangalore in couple of months time. My family is also moving end of March, and we are kind of completely lost regarding my 8 yrs old daughter's school selection.

The schools that I had shortlisted a month back, are struck out by this month. Reasons are genuine concern for one's child. Presidency School was at the top of our list but going by the news of the Principal of that school (also I read that it's been de-recognized and shut down), one needs to have heart of steel to send one's child in such schools.
Our options are chiselled down furthermore because of the curriculum (ICSE) I wish my daughter to follow.
Vishwa Vidyapeeth seems to be a good school, but quite fresh and new. So unable to decipher much about the integrity and sincerity of the management of this school. Also, it is quite expensive I believe. Ryan International School, Yelahanka is our only option now presently.

Let's try and share whatever info we get related to our journey of school search.

Past couple of weeks had been busy adjusting to new  city and job.. As initiator of this thread, thought to come back and share my findings. So, I have researched/visited quite a bit of schools around the area:

Quick summary I have shared under the other thread:

http://www.parentree.in/India/Bangalore/45370-looking-for-a-good-icse-school-near-bharatiya-city-tha...

Those are off-hand thoughts. If any one needs info for any specific school, feel free to drop a line. will definitely try to share my perspective, if I am aware of.

Lets keep on 'paying-forward' approach. Be help to others wherever possible!!
