I am interested to take admission of my daughter in St. Patrick's Academy Sarjapur road (LKG academic year 2017-18). I have not met any parent yet whose childrens are studying there. Please reply me if some one having exerience with this school.
Even i am looking out for the same school along with St. Peter's as well.
When i visited the St. Patricks campus i got chance to interact with 3 parents who all said it is very good in terms of teaching, extra activities and reasonable fee.
I am also looking for admissions for my Kids 2017-18 ( LKG & 1st Standard). Just wondering admission already started in this school.
I would like to know the fees structure and the workload for kids.
Appreciate the help in advance.
The Admission forms are being distributed at the campus for the 2017-18.
I visited yesterday(10-oct), but the school was closed.
The application will be given again from 12th Oct from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
I'm planning to visit tomorrow to get the application for my son(LKG).
Let me know the feedback about the school
Anyone has any idea on the transport facility .. is it good.. how they take care of kids..
My kids are studying in St patricks Academy and the school has a conventional approach to education and other extracurricular activities, Standard of education is good and teachers are very co operative and helpful and understanding.( hatsoff to the students co ordinator at preprimary and primary level) . My son has lost his notebook and when bought to their notice they had scanned and send across the entire notes to copy and write from home.
Fees is still reasonable compared to other schools and they have all basic facilities and clean environment. the student teacher ratio is 1: 26 and they get personal attention. They have all other acitivities like karate French classes abacus western dance music basketball football and other sports activities coaching. Swimming pool is not there in the school campus which is the one essential thing lacking out
For primary classes no workloads in the name of homework, basic activity are given. Transport is provided at a reasonable care. School doesn't have its own daycare but there are reliable and good daycares close by like kidzee , I have personal experience. Hope these information are helpful for all the parents who is seeking admission this year.
Transport is provided but looks like it does not have much coverage in areas.
Admissions has started and the forms are given out on all working days. There is no much workload for the child and as a working parent for me too.....
My kids are with St.Patrick's, both @ kindergarten. I am a happy parent . Teachers are well qualified and have passion towards their profession.(I haven't met any teacher just coming for time pass and no affection towards kids).
Kids are happy going to school.
Nursery they sent homework on Friday.
UKG now a days not sending any homework.. rarely send on weekdays but its normally one page writing .
As a busy mom (Working from 8-5) I am not feeling any pressure to manage these works.
I don't have any complaint regarding Transport as well. I am within 5 KM radiance. Each bus has a lady attender.
Fees is reasonable and school is not business minded.
Hi, my son got admission in SPA for the next academic year. He will be joining class II. Other than school transport do you know anyone else travelling by van or auto?
Could you please tell me the fees structure for UKG and 3rd Std?
Can you guys please share the Feedback of the SPA Schools. How is the experience after almost 6 months associations.
We heard there will be lot of pressure on home work from first grade onward. Also is all Saturdays working days? My kid is more interested in extra curricular activities and thus thinking there will be importance given to extra curricular activities. Any inputs will be of great help.
Fees Structure for the first year will be around 1.15lakhs and from the second year onwards around 60k.
The experience so far is good. Academic wise it is ok.. not much pressure on students. Transport is bit tough. They are not ready to take new routes and they have asked us to pick up and drop to the nearby bus point. that is bit difficult.
Academic wise there is no much pressure. The staffs are really amazing. Extra curricular activities, I feel it the same with all the schools. We have enrolled our kid in cricket for which we paid extra Rs.4000 and we feel there is no much of learning in it. Other than that they have regular PT periods during which they can play. Other extra curricular activities are music, dance etc any one can be enrolled for a year.
Hi @ preeprav,
Your kid is now in which class?
Some schools giving coaching for 2 hours per week for extra curricular activities by taking money. Are you saying similar thing is not happening in Patrick's?
Thanks for the information given!!
Hello my kid is in Grade 2. ECA they have 2 days per week but I dont feel it is that effective for them. May be children from higher classes will benefit from that. For younger ones it is just another PT period.
Hi, even st Francis school also they are conducting 2 to 3 hrs per week for paid ECAs.
I want to admit my son in SPA for lkg in next year. So anyone can help me with the admission test, it will be really great. As I got the information they will conduct written test. So which kind of questions come and how strict they are in this test kindly inform.
Thanks in advance.
