I had gone to VIBGYOR Horamavu & came to know they are not affiliated too. The school informed me that any school in Karanataka gets its ICSE or CBSE affiliation only in the second or third academic year (VIBGYOR is ICSE). On cross checking with other parents, I came to know that this information is right - schools do not get ICSE/CBSE affiliation before starting but only after they have completed one year of operation. From what I know Chrysalis Varthur & Yelahanka branches are already affiliated. I did not know there is a Chrysalis in Horamavu too. Will check out & keep you updated.

What i heard, school should run for 3 years, then CBSE team will visit the school and if it met all their criteria, they will give certification with number with expiry year.
Also when i visited the Yelahanka campus, CBSE team just visited the school and yet to get confirmation from them, if they got affiliation or not.  Sure they will get this year or max next year. Unless if you are joining your kid for 8th or 9th grade, you should worry, else no need t worry.
Once kid get X grade marks card and if the kid has studied last three years, i.e. 8,9 and 10th grade in affiliated school then the marks card is valid CBSE certified. this what the information i got from some parent not sure its true.
