Hi Rshran,

We stay on Sarjapur Road only just 100 meters from Wipro. I work in HSR and so i take my son with me and he continue the Day Care there and i pick him back while coming from office. Works well as he does not have to travel in bus. Will have to see how we will handle while he moves to HIS.

Hi Sudhansu,

I am paying 5k for day care for my son at Cherubs Mont.

Hi shashin, Today we enquired about our child for M3 in HIS. Now their admission fees is 100000. It will be around 3lac for first year... Its too much expensive...from last year they have increased admission fees 50000...

rsharan 2017-10-11 13:58:06

Hi 1nitin, They had increased the admission fee from last year itself.
It was 51000 for 2016-17.
For 2017-18, it was 1lakh and for 2018-19 as well its 1lakh.
I agree its on the higher side.

How is the feedback...abt studies and extra curricular activities..??!

rsharan 2017-10-11 14:00:36

Hi shashin, I think he should be able to handle the travel part from Grade 1. :)
HIS distance from wipro office is 6-7 kms.

Hi 1nitin,
I only have info about the montessori, not the higher grades.
I know a few parents who are sending their kids to Harvest and they are happy with the school.
I visited the school while the classes were going on. From what I could see, kids were looking happy and involved in their activities. Teachers looked friendly.

About extra curricular activities, they said they celebrate all festivals in the school.
I would suggest you to visit their facebook page for this. There are lot many videos available.

My child got selected for Mont 2 in Harvest International for 2018-19.
Let me share our experience.
I am posting in multiple replies as the site is allowing me post me one go (not sure why). Sorry for that !

A week back, we visited the school for the first time.
The staff at the reception gave us a quick school tour and answered all our queries.
We were told to leave our details with them and they would call us for a round of interaction soon.
They said they have limited seats(20) for Mont 2 and already around 100 candidates had enquired for Mont 2.

rsharan 2017-10-11 14:24:00

We recieved a mail from them in 4 days stating that we can attend the first round of interaction on a given date.
We were taken to a room and a teacher spoke to our daughter and gave her materials for coloring.
The teacher was friendly and our child was at ease within few minutes. For Mont 2, they were looking for basic alphabets, numbers, shapes, colours etc.

After some waiting time, we were asked to meet the principal.
She informed us that our child is selected and we will be receiving an email about further process.

rsharan 2017-10-11 14:28:37

The process was smooth and the staff, both teaching and non-teaching, were courteous.
The school premises was clean.
We are hoping for a long and happy association with the school.

Same experience with us...we have submitted the admission fees today for M3...let's hope best for the future..

1nitin 2017-10-11 18:31:50

But just curious about to know that really that much competition is there for admission in harvest...that for 20 seats 100 students... Or for every body they say like that...

rsharan 2017-10-11 19:47:12

The lady at the reception (I think Sherley) had a xl sheet in her system. We asked her to filter the entries for M2 and found that around 100 candidates were there.. But that was only the enquiry. I guess only 50% of them must have come for the interaction.

We also received the email to attend the orientation, but didn't attend after looking at hike in new fee structure. Can't even imagine how much parents will end up paying as the kids grow . Must be more expensive than MBBS.

Hi Shashin, Great job.. Thanks for the helpful information .. I am also checking for a good school for my kid around whitefield area. I have shortlisted Vydehi, Chrysalis and Global International. I found no comments on vydehi , so little confused now. Is it not a good school ? Could you tell me which one will be better from these 3. Also i am confused between icse and cbse medium. I prefer icse but not finding many schools on icse medium around whitefield. One more question : can a cbse / icse medium student take admission overseas directly ? So your answer will be valuable as you have researched a lot ...

Hi Shaishin,

Please let me know if you have any idea about how dps  east and its reviews

Regards,
Rajesh

Shashin 2017-10-24 13:32:57

Hi Lopa, i Do no have much idea on any of the listed school. I prefer CBSE becasue of its balanced education. ICSE is little lengthy and subjective. If you think you are going to travel/settle over seas i think IB is the best to look for.

Hhi Rajesh, did not inquire for DPS at all, sorry.

Hi All,

The information I have seen so far has been very useful here. My kid is currently in a play school near my house but he will be 3 this Feb and we are planning to change him to either Cherubs HSR or DPS electronic city. I am planning to move closer to his school wherever he goes. Which would be better considering both the fees as well as quality of the school. What is the fee for DPS next year?

Thanks,
Aswin

You could look at Indus Early Learning center in RMV second stage. The school fee is 2,59000 annually and it is definately value money. You could schedule a campus visit on their website.

They have a lovely campus that allows students to be part of the initiative for an environment brigade, where all the students are involved and in a safe environment.

Hi Aswin1985,
The fees for DPS East for 2018-19 (LKG) is close to 2.1 lakhs including everything for the first year. From next year it should come around 1.2 lakhs.
Harvest fees is on higher side compared to DPS.
We had visited both Harvest and DPS and found Harvest better for our child.
