Your list has a few schools missing and some of the ones that are missing are important ones.
1) Ekya - Jp Nagar 2nd Phase
2) Aaradhana Academy - LnT South City
3) AECS Magnolia - Bannerghatta Road
Would be great if people can share their experiences and also important things like fee structure, PTM interaction etc on this board.

Kumarans has commenced the admission process. In a nutshell,
1. Application is online only
2. Form can be updated between Sep 1 and Sep 6
3. Form must be submitted online starting Sep 6, 10 AM
Fee structure when I inquired at Dodkalsandra for CBSE
Pre-KG, 80k (inc. admission fee), LKG 50-60k, UKG 50-60; Standard 1- 1.25L (again admission fee) and thereafter about 80k each year
Transport starts 18k, depending on distance
Any details from other schools, esp. Aurobindo & DPS South?

Hi all,

Thanks for sharing.
Kumarans has branches in Tata silk form, Doddakallasandra for Nursery. If opted for Tata silk form + CBSE. Will the child get admission in Doddakallsandra (where CBSE is present) for Class I.

Any update on other school will be helpful.

Kumarans will decide where your kid will be placed.

geethan 2015-08-14 14:52:57

Its also based on syllabus one chooses. Mallasandra is the only branch with ICSE. Plus, travel distance from home would probably be a selection parameter.

The official word is, teachers gauge students in kindergarten, and decide which syllabus is best fit - which I think is fair (they are probably better placed than us).

I visited the Dodkalsandra branch, seemed a good place, but have heard Mallasandra has better infra. Anyone been there who can comment?

I heard Kumarans have started application process for siblings of existing students.

Any past experiences on interview dates for DPS South, Kumarans & Aurobindo?

Any information  from when they are going to commenced the admission process for Carmel - Padmanabhnagar &  Sri Aurobindo Memorial School - BSK 2nd stage school?

sakivshru 2015-08-20 16:34:38

I need admission for my son for LKG. I Have applied for BGS NPS for my son. But they have said that there are no openings for LKG as of now. From kumarans website, I got to know that admissions are only for pre - KG or from first standard and above. Is this the same in all schools? We were out of country last year and could not have applied for pre-kg. How hard is it to get admissions for LKG? Any schools in south Bangalore(close to Konankunte) which accepts admission for LKG?

shwethakn 2015-08-20 18:17:12

Hi. Anyone with information about when admission process starts at Aurbindo and Carmel?

ushabangalore 2015-08-21 08:34:36

for LKG admission you can check JSS ,padmanabhanagar.. they will do as i know..

geethan 2015-08-21 11:43:16

Hi sakivshru, Most schools start from pre-kg. Although, if you speak to someone, and explain your situation, they might agree. The other way is to enroll your child in euro kids or similar and seek admission for 1 standard. Most schools open up 1 std. Either ways do speak to schools about your situation and they may be willing.

KMahanta 2015-08-21 22:52:20

Hi sakivshru Pls check jyoti kendriya vidyalaya its on kanakapura road nearby konankunte. They accepts from lkg only.

sakivshru 2015-08-22 09:03:01

Thanks Ushabangalore, geethan and KMahanta.. Will check it out..
