so i request parents of kids studying in this school either in varthur/kadugodi, to pls share ur comments be it pros or cons. I want to know more on the teachers attitude towards the kids and curriculum. Are they easily approachable, do they really help our kids to overcome the difficulties they face( for eg. My kid is shy to communicate). So parents pls pls help me with ur comments. Than q so much.

My daughter is going to Chrysalis High which is in Varthur since last year. Me and my husband were actually looking for a school like this where the child could learn at her own pace without feeling pressurized to do so. You get a feel of how happy the kids are as soon as you enter their campus. They give importance to overall development of the child and each child is known by name to the teacher. The teachers are very polite, open minded and approachable.

Visted the school in kadugodi and decided to take admission. Impressed with their infrastructure & curriculum. Had words with principal, she is so kind enough to explain abt the methodology.  The only concern is the road that leads to the school. Really scared of the narrow lanes; how the school buses go through that? Is it safe to take ur kid to school thro' 2 wheeler? Anybody who is driving 2 wheeler to the school, pls share ur experience. Than q.

My Kid will be joining Chrysalis high this June in U.K.G.
I did a lot of ground work before getting him admitted to this school. Researched all (or most) of the schools in the marathahalli whitefield area. Following is my personal opinion:
1. Newly come up. I think 4th year in operation.
2. The 200m stretch on varthur road if you are coming from marathalli; is pretty congested.
3. Does not a very big playground.
1. Big classrooms and very well maintained.
2. Admission charges are low compared to other schools.
3. Very competent and knowledgeable teachers (the ones I have come across)
4. Individual attention provided to students (from what i have heard from other parents)
5. Good transport facilities and day care facilities for pre-primary.

Every school has its pros and cons. In my opinion, i think this is one school which stands out in terms of good schooling at not so exorbitant fees. Varthur road has a host of international schools, which boast of great education. I have myself passed out from one of the best school in India - Modern School, Barakhamba road, New Delhi. So i have a fair idea of what these schools are up to. If you a middle of higher middle class parent looking for quality education then please research the international schools thoroughly before getting your kids admitted there. They may be having a lot of scope of extra curricular activities but there's a negative side to it as well (if you know what i mean). We cannot just leave our children at the whims and fancies of such schools and hope that they will be taken care of, since we have paid such high fees. End of the day, we as parents, have to give that dedicated quality time to our kids, if we want their upbringing to be good without compromising on anything that shall stop them from getting what they deserve.

Just wanted to put my honest feedback, so that it help people like me selecting a school with such plethora of choices.

Hi Agarwalvikram,
Thanks for the details. Could you please share on the fee structure, what is the total fees per annum (with breakup if possible)? i'm looking for my daughter admission in this school, so want to know more details.
I visited St. Peter's, St. Patricks and Royal Concorde last week and planning to visit Chrysalis this week end. Meanwhile if you can share fee details will be great.

The fees would be approximately 1 lakh for the year(including books etc., to be paid in 3 Phases) and Rs. 20,000 Admission Fees (One time). Not sure on the availability of seats as they follow first comes first preference for admission.

Hi agrawalvikram,

Now as your son completed 1 year in the Chrysallis high varthur road, can you pls share your comment after 1 year. How is the study their? How often they get homework and are you happy with your son overall development.

I am planning to put my son in UKG in Chrysallis high Varthur branch but confused academic wise.Being a working parent bit worried about daily homework which I heard they got from 1st grade onwards. But I liked their daily assessment based on worksheet if they give to kids during their last period. For UKG also any idea do they follow that?
