Hi @nrshari im in the same boat as u this year... confused!between samhita and kumarans could you please help me in this regard which school dis u finally choose?
Emkay123 we visited Samhita since we heard lots of good reviews about it. But we weren't really impressed with the campus. Tbh there was no one to show around. For the kind of fees they charge we expected slightly better extra curricular activities. May be we are wrong, and how good Samhita is, can be only experienced once you are in the school. But somehow I felt it is more academically oriented than we would have liked , so gave it a pass.
P.S. We had interacted for admission to grade 1.
I concur. We have looked at Samhita for my kid (grade 1); and while I have seen good reviews online & offline (a friend's kid has been going there for 6+ years), when I visited the campus, it was okay-ish. There was no one around to show us - the security escorted us to what a typical classroom looks like, and then to the playground and we were done. I felt a bit 'clustered/ closed' while we were in the main building. However, I've seen folks sending kids to Samhita from e-city and other far off areas citing its reputation.
The other schools we considered were Greenwood High (way too expensive), Mitra (infra challenges), BGS (sorry admissions are already full), and Ekya - JP Nagar & BTM. We have admits from all these schools save BGS and are inclined towards Ekya (their campuses are very good - thoughtfully done, we spoke to the heads of both - JPN and BTM campus and were quite warm and courteous, and liked their teaching methodologies, curriculum). Any comparisons anyone has between Samhita and Ekya would be very helpful. Thanks.
Hello everyone - I see that Kumarans has activated the admission link again. Have they decided to increase the intake? Are the earlier set of applications closed? Can anyone please guide?... thank u!
