Dear friends,
I am relocating to Bangalore from UK and looking for school details around Sarjapur road who would be able to accommodate my 4.5 years old daughter. Any suggestion/information would be of great help. As its a mid session now we are bit worried. Not sure if schools have any seats for the transferred candidates.
thanks,
Manoj

Hi

we relocated from Canada and my son adjusted well in Harvest Intnl School in Sarjapur Road.We were lucky that his teacher was teaching and living in US for 10 years and helped him to do transition smoothly.Less kids (10 kids - 2 teachers and 1 aayah)in a class so kids get enough attention.

DPS is bit crowded and admission is little tough ,but its reputed school

Sorry , read it as (20 kids - 2 teachers - 1 ayaah)

Dont go for DPS.. you cannot digest the crowd over there.. If you blindly believes in brand, then DPS is the one, I have personally visited all the schools in Sarjapur Road last year for my daugter's admission.
If you dont care much on fees, then go for Inventure Academy or GreenWood High or TISB. Otherwise go for GIIS or Harvest.
I have admitted my kid in Harvest. That was in my budget and CBSE syllabus also. So far so good.. No homework for mont kids and GPS in school bus.

You can try Bethany High also.. got positive feedback from friends.

Hi,
Harvest takes in kids around 4.6 years for Mont III
Age Criteria:

Mont I - 2.6 yrs.

Mont II - 3.6 yrs.

Mont III- 4.6 yrs.

Grade 1 â€" 5.6 years.

best for kids to study in less crowded schools...so they get good attention and also safety...

Kumar

Hi,
Between I am also moving from UK to Bangalore and have got admission for kids in Magnolia Public School (CBSE) in Banerghetta Road.
closer to home; so kids dont need to use school bus. proximity was my prime criteria.

Our daughter goes to Chrysalis High and she is in Grade II. We are very happy with the school - teachers are good, management & principal are very approachable. Good infrastructure - my daughter goes for swimming, skating & yoga. She loves the school. Am not sure if seats are available.

Thanks friends. Much appreciated. From the discussion above looks like Harvest is a preferred choice.

Thanks Cheerful. Which class does your son goes ? My biggest worry is my daughter getting adjusted to Indian school after going to UK school from the last 2 years. Do you know any contact from Harvest who can help with admission ?
Regards,
Manoj

My son goes to Mont 3/UKG  in Harvest .he was in a Montessori school in Canada too . no stress and almost no homework( He just get 2 or 3 papers max a week which can be done in 5 mins).A direct call to school will help you to go thr the admission procedure. they actually kept the admission open in the recent week( due to Vibgyor High issue) and admin will answer all your questions.
Also if you can get a progress report or some kind of assessment from the current school , that wud help teachers here to know the kid better...I have done the same for my son.

I will not recommend DPS. From my apartment one lady is working there as teacher and she also tells their agenda is to cover the syllabus on time ,nothing much...so personal attention to kids is almost Nil. and in play area of our apartment I can see which kids go to DPS from their  nearly horrible English accent :-)

Hi MakAG, Have you tried at Inventure Academy in Whitefield?  My kids study there & I’m personally very satisfied with the well- rounded education provided at Inventure Academy which is essential for the overall development of the kid. check out their website
