Thanks for the open offer. How do you find Zee now ? Im looking for information about whether they have interactive teaching facilities/quality of teaching staff (whether they stick around too)/play ground facilities/how good or vicious the management is . Any other information would also very welcome.
Could you please tell regarding the teacher student ratio and the timings of school,Is there any daycare facility .How is the transport facility in the school.
In my view, School has good infrastructure in place. Play ground is of reasonable size. They have recently completed the construction - G+3 floors. Quality of teaching staff is Acceptable / Good. ( will give 3.5 / 5)
LKG/UKG : typically 16 - 18 students per Class (one Teacher + a Assistant, not qualified for teaching).
I haven't run in to any issue with the management so far. They generally receive you well and show interest in listening to concerns.
That will not guarantee necessary action always. :-).
I am fine with their teaching methods (mostly I hear from the teacher during PTM) with lot of activity based learning, field visits, show & tell events, festival celebrations etc.
Couple of open concerns :
Lack of continuity in what the students learn - whenever Class teacher goes on leave.
The substitute used to give some random activity to engage the students. At times, my Son complained of boredom too.
CBSE affiliation is not there yet (though they claim the same in their website).
(You can check with Management on their plan, they keep changing target dates every month).
Hi Anand Sir.
I happened to read your reviews on Zee Mount Litera School on parentree.com.
I'm looking for admission of my child for grade 4, (next academic year)at Zee Mount Litera school Horamavu branch.
If it's fine with you, can you kindly give an answer to the questions mentioned below:
1.Does this school burden children with home work?
2.Does the school encourage and co-operate with children who are actively involved in sports.
3.Are you happy with your child's performance assessment and feedback given by the teacher?
4.Last but not the least, how is the safety aspect handled?
Really sorry to bother you with this big list of questions. Since we are planning to move our child next year and we have less time to take decision I'm rushing things through.
All your inputs in guiding us to take a fruitful decision for our child is highly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance.
P.S: I've also emailed these questions to your ID.
