I am looking for Grade 1 admission from 2014-15. Currently living in HSR but in future moving to Sarjapura Road. I did some research and sorted out a few schools but need your feedback and experience with this regard.
GIIS -  School is good and truly international but just started in 2013-14. Met their administration. They are very  responsive ( Obviously as they are still new).   Right now very less admission fee - only 15 k for corporate employees. Positive. But when I went around the classes I felt that it is bit crowded and did not get good vibes and somehow not convinced 100%. It looked little less managed. Although the GIIS is very much international and their higher is management very strong but still not convinced about this.

HIS: Harvest International school: I visited couple of times and my 6 year son wrote written test and got chance to meet the principal. Infrastructure is good. Got good vibes when i went around their campus. Student teacher ratio is less and this is strong point.

Distance wise both the school are almost same although GIIS little further. Both these school's transportation fees are same. While HIS does not charge for annual charges GIIS charges 20k for 14-15.

I want your feedback regarding these schools. Which one to choose and what are the pros and cons.

Is there any more school I can put into this comparison?

I feel that although GIIS market too much about other things ( like cricket academy, chess club etc etc) but really how much essentially good in education/academics is not clear.

Your feedback, suggestions are welcome as I have to decide soon for son.

Thanks in advance.!!
HMS

My hello to all HIS parents here!
I'm seeking admission for my son in LKG in 2014-15. HIS  and Vibgyor High (harlur road) are the two schools on my mind.Would like to latest feedbacks on Harvest Cherubs and HIS from the parents who are already experiencing them. Please share the latest feedback here for the benefit of everyone seeking admission.
-Few things still unanswered here and dropped concerns in my mind-
-Is the school affiliated to CBSE?
-Too much homework .pls confirm from which class onwards you noticed this?
-balance in academics and extra curricular-Yes or no?
-Less experienced teachers-Is it true? Any other parent feels the same ?

I'm going to visit Cherubs and main school tomorrow along with few other schools in HSR. Will share feedback and probably find answers to some of the queries above.Parents feedback would still be much appreciated. You can email me at aastha15@gmail.com.

Hi All,
I am a parent of Harvest International School. My child is in Grade 8. After lot of research, I selected this school. I found it much better than GIIS. Ekya ..I dont know as I heard form one of the employee about the inexperienced staff.. But yes, I met the teachers in HIS, all are highly qualified who teach higher Grades. I heard that Mont is very good. Good combination of academics and extra curricular activities, effective management. we are group of parents who are satisfied with the prompt response of Harvest. they are very much affiliated to CBSE and follow the same religiously. You can check their website...and facebook also.

@ Vanshika,

Thanks for your valuable feedback. I was not in Bangalore so did not get a chance to look at your replies. I had finalized the admission and paid the admission fees after much contemplation.

@Sheela

I had visited two times to harvest and felt the right atmosphere for my son. I had finalized in harvest.

Hi Hiren/sunshine79, We will be moving to Bangalore in july and we will be living in HSR layout. We are considering HIS, Prakriya or Ekya for 2018-2019 (this year my daughter would be in KG-2). Are your children still in HIS?? Could you please give me a feedback about this school? ? Any information would be helpful.
