Hi my name is Devendra Kumar, I'm looking for good ICSE curriculum school in North Bangalore. Since July I am searching for schools which has not rigid curriculum structure like old style but its really hard to find the right place for my kid. I need suggestions from you all....
My son is in 2nd grade at TRIO. We have been pleased with the school so far. He is a day scholar and has only joined this year. The parent teacher meetings are very helpful and informative. They tell us where our child needs to improve and point out his best strengths. His teacher explained about their differentiated learning approach so that he learns at his own pace. What I liked most is that my son is developing an interest towards reading and public speaking. I would like to recommend it to the parents looking for individualized attention and balanced academics and sports.
I m looking for trio for ICSE for lkg for my kid I just want to now from all of u which school is better trio or Jain haritage
My son is Jan 2014 born, is he eligible for admission to Montessori in 2016? When will they start enrolling & what is the fee structure?
hi ankita12, Now I'm also in the same boat. I'm comparing the Trio ICSC and Jain Heritage now. Please let me know what decision you have taken to choose between these two schools. Thanks in advance.
We are in the process of choosing a good school for our kid too for nursery admissions.
We are leaning towards Trio as it has good open space/playgroud, well-lit classrooms, less student ratio.
We are visiting the school this week to look around.
Heard JHS has more importance sports and finding it very expensive compared to Trio.
Absolutely not comfortable with too many sports for children of young age especially swimming.
Hi Parents, would like to know if it is easy to get admission in nursery or since the kids from playschool naturally transit to nursery, the number of seats are few? Plz. Advise
I am not sure about the limit on the number of seats. Sometimes admission office say so to close / fill up seats. Its always a good idea to keep a few number of schools as your options and depending on your other preferences (location, proximity, safety) and its good to keep nursery & playgroup children, in fact, I would prefer until UKG, in a decent school as close to your home. They are too young.
True Sowmya. Thanks! Did you get your child admitted in Trio nursery yet? If yes, any feedback on school that you might have will be helpful.
Hello! Trio nursery is good and we prefer ICSE over IGCSE. But its their first year in ICSE.
Security wise - very good and the Trio Tots program/curriculum is very good too. We have seen the school and so are our friends for their child. Its a safe school and very clean. Ventilated with natural light.
I have nothing negative to comment about the school.
In fact, safest of the all schools for nursery - UKG I have seen amongst Kempapura area schools for my child's nursery.
Our child is a bit sensitive in health so putting her in nearby school till UKG - I know its a big risk to find admission in another 3 years given the annual fee is at least 1lakh now itself for some schools in the same area. So, taking a leap of faith, for the only reason the child will be close to home for the very important few formative years. I think they should be put in big school when they are at least capable of understanding their environment and able to communicate clearly their needs/thoughts and less travel in traffic.
Well, thats my opinion. :) Hope it helps.
Hi all, We are also moving back to India next year and visiting June of 2016 to look for schools. If you have your kids admitted to Trio World, please let me know if you are happy with the school or any concerns. I'm bringing my son back to Bangalore for his 5th grade from US.
hi all looking for more reviews on these schools , plz share
and the fee structure too
I put my son into TRIO for his 5th grade. It's been 6 months since we moved, things at school are going smooth so far. I'm not very satisfied but this is the best I can find. If I remember correctly, other than initial admission fees, we have to pay 70K per semester.
Hope this helps,
hi thanks for the reply...how new is the school
70k per semester means- how many semesters totally
which part u r not happy about
I think it's at least a decade old school with IGCSE syllabus but ICSE is kind of new and not affiliated with government yet. There are 2 semesters in an academic year. Regarding what I'm not happy about, they don't give home work every day. On an average, I see my son doing home work 2 to 3 times a week. Initially it was very difficult to make him sit and study when their is no homework. But they do test on each chapter they finish in school, so now a days I make him study for those tests. Problem is unless my son tells me that their is a chapter test, i would not know that their is a test.
Hope this helps,
