proudfatherof2,
Thank you for the info. Is there a possibility to get to know about our no. in the queue through school or anybody else? Also can you tell how will we get the list of shortlisted applications? Is it put on the BGS website itself??Hope to hear from you soon.

puneeth,
am not through the school. For every 50 persons we had one sheet like this. As your number is large enough it is tough to get all these lists and consolidate.
From the notice posted at BGSNPS school, I thought that the selection list would be out on 28th August for PP1 , but when I logged into their website it said that the list will be out in the first week of September..
Any ideas on this??
As per the information i received from the BGSNPS school, they are going to announce the shortlisted students list today i.e 27-08-2013 evening in their school website.
They have shortlisted around 200 lucky kids for first round of interview as per list. Everyone was expecting that they will have vacancies of around 240+. Can someone from this list please update if they had provided a limited list currently? I am attaching a screen shot of the selected loken numbers from the list provided.
But when I click on the "Admission Details" link on their website's homepage it says "Error 404" and the pdf does not open. I even tried downloading the pdf but its a failed document. Can anybody please share the pdf on this thread, if they have successfully downloaded it and was able to open it. Thanks.
Even I was able to download the doc. they have only called till a max token number of 186 for PP-1 and rest for siblings quota.
@ProudFatherOf2
Yes they have called very limited number of people. I think they have cut down the quota in the ratio of 60-40(Normal-Siblings).
Admission details are announced in following link : http://bgsnps.com/downloads/admission%20details.pdf All the best for selected candidates.
Hi,
My token no number didnt get selected as it was higher side. Does any one know is there any chance that the school will have second round of admission process?
As per schools website there will be second round of admission after sep. 13 if there are vacancies..
It seems they had called around
- 250 candidates (190 normal + 60 sibling) in Phase1
-125 candidates in Phase II
So thinking so hopes are that they will call for Phase II for candidates not selected in Phase I ( like me )
NVNRavi,
They had called approx 206 candiates in phase 1. They did not mention anything about phase 2. Wish you good luck.
The below statistics which i had shown in previous message is base done last year progress by school
It seems they had called around
- 250 candidates (190 normal + 60 sibling) in Phase1
-125 candidates in Phase II
Just now they have posted in the website that total vacancies are just 210 for PP1. Strange that till last year they had atleast 350 students per class. May be downsizing going on. So almost there will be no name in 2nd list as people from 1st list will take all the seats.
Guys, me too am thinking of the same. Any idea of which schools are good in infrastructure, teaching and sports and extracurricular? Also fee is a criteria for me. Am not looking for schools more than 50k per annum (tution fee). Please suggest.
My son got admission for PP-1 (Got lucky because of Sibling criteria). My token number was 548. While I congratulate parents (and of course kids), for those who didn't get admission don't get disheartened, there are many good schools around. I did some research back then when I was trying for admission for my elder kid. I would like to share that experience with you all.
1. Kumarans High School
2. PSBB
3. Delhi Public School
4. Heritage School
5. Sherwood High School
6. Jyothi Kendriya Vidyalaya
7. The South School. (Upto 4th Std planned to go upto 7th Std in future). My elder son studied here till UKG. Though a small school but lot of extra curriculum activities and equally focused on education. State Syllabus.
8. Sri Chaitanya techno school
9. Bal Vidya Mandir
9. Mitra academy.
10. Capitol School.
Bit expensive Schools list:
1. Brigade School
2. Presidency School
3. Innisfree School
Please do your research too before admitting your ward in any of the schools mentioned above. I might have missed few schools which I will share in future.
Take care and all the best.
Hey Jairaj, Hari Kishan here. Congrats to you brother in succeeding in securing a seat for your younger one. This was the thread started by me sometime back .
Congrats Jairaj and Thanks for sharing list.
Let me add some more schools into the list:
1) Samhita
2) Ekya
3) Sudharsan
Looks like during phase-I of admission principal of BGSNPS told that there are 8 sections. Not sure if they are planning to fill remaining seats through Management quota(May be with increased donation).
Does anyone have any idea on how tough is it to get in to PSBB. Is it similar to of BGSNPS or easier than this.
Congrats Jairaj .. it's indeed an achivement..Can you share with us any details as to what was asked to your kid.. it will be of great help.. thanks
