Thank you.
Hi all,
I would also like to join the discussion.

Was keen on getting my son in vidyashilp but he did not get in toddler group in Vidyasagar. Any recommendations on how I could get him in nursery in sagar?
Which other schools in north bangalore are recommended ?
Heard Mallya aditi is good but difficult to get into
and Dps /nps are too study oriented. Please recommend other schools like shilp
thanks

Hi All,
There are many good schools in North Blore, i have heard RSS is also very good..friendly environment for the kids and they encourage co-corricular activities.
Also, i stay in vijaynagar, pls suggest some good school near vijaynagar, how abt srivani machohalli..how is coaching and other co-curricullar activities in srivani..anybody who have admitted ther kid in srivani machohalli ...pls let me know...
regards,
kavitha
@ vandana
VS: If one doesnt get in playgroup, then chances of getting in nursery is very remote. They dont issue forms for nursery. I heard some transparency related issues. (for ex they keep saying come next month for registering in waiting list and then say admission closed).
i think there arent too many options in north blr. jain heritage is good from an infrastructure point of view. i heard food and transport is very good. but i could gather very little about academics, quality of teachers etc. i have no idea about that.
@kavitha
what is RSS school ?
Thanks Gautam. Do you recommend nps / dps then? I've seen mixed reviews for both. And how easy is it to get in there in 1st std? My son is going to neev now. I was keen on getting him in mallya or shilp but chances look slim. In any case can try there only in ukg / 1st. So was wondering if ii should try in nps / dps or jain heritage for nursery Or I should let him continue in neev and then try these in 1st in case he does not get in mallya or shilp
Hi All
I would like to join this conversation.. I am staying at Sarjapura Road. Open to schools in Sarjapura road or HSR/bellendur:
We are looking for CBSE schools ,individual attention to kids, extracuricular activities, good accademics.
But unluckly we can't find all these qualities in one school :(
I shortlised
DPS(East) - Pros: Brand Name, Cons: too crowded,teacher-parent interaction is less
NPS(HSR) - Pros: Accademic too good. Cons: admission is very difficult, extra curriculum is less
Harvest International - Pros - Teacher-student ratio less,
Cons: Don't have much details abt school other than collected from sites. Don't know Accademically good or not
Any suggestions on these schools or do u know abt any other good schools in these area?
vandana,
i woudlnt recommend dps. nps is good. but very hard to get if one doesnt get in the play group. i suggest you keep trying in your preferre schools like mallya etc. and keep jain as backup. but please do some home work on jain's quality. i heard both positive and negative comments. its a new school. (started in 2008). if neev is good, thers no reason to hurry and join nursery/kg in in jain. you can always whenever you want.
