Hi all,

I also got my child admitted to Oakridge. It is a good school following ICGSE curriculum and CBSE for senior classes.

Good academics and extra-curricular activities.

Unfortunately for us distance is a bit too much so it takes around 45 mins - 1hr. but in Bangalore everybody has to travel. :(

Let me know where did you get your child admitted finally. Sorry for late reply to all.

Its OK.

We have finalized Greenwood High School. Recommended by many. Since distance is a big criteria we chose this school.

Hi PinkAsh,

We are also looking for a good school for our son. Could u please throw some light on fee structure of Oakridge?
Or u have any other suggestions for other good schools on Sarjapur road?

TIA

HI rashmi2908,

Most of the International schools have high fees as compared to old schools of Bangalore. Oakridge annual fees is around 2.75L per annum. I find it high as compared to Sri Ram in Gurgaon as it was the best school with lesser fees.

Other good schools are Greenwood High, Indus Valley, TISB whose fees is in the range of 4L, 7L, 8L resp. One important note, you may need to call up the school to find the fees. This is what I heard from parents and some I enquired while looking for school a year back.

There are lot of other schools like Inventure Academy, Global Indian School, Harvest International, Vibgyor International, Deans Academy etc. You may have to visit these schools to evaluate them and check fees. May be other discussions in Parent Tree about these schools may throw light on these schools.

All good wishes.

Hi,

Even my son is in Preprimary in Oakridge. I m v satisfied with the overall development of my son. However the fees is v high compared to others. Only coz of fees, I m considering other options. But if money is not a challenge... Oakridge is the best for building the child foundation. They have some challenges for the primary classes in terms of the staff but the curriculum is v good.
