Can anybody please give me details about Edify School, Kanakapura Road, Bangalore.
We will be relocating from Mysore to Bangalore. My daughters will be moving to class 1 and class 7. Did not find any kind of review on this school. Please help.
did u get any feedback abt the edify school? wat have u decided
We had been to the school about 25 days ago. We got to meet the Principal & took a tour around the school. Though the school in Bangalore started a year ago and the number o children are less, we are somehow convinced. We did enrol our daughters (Class 1 and Class 7). Hope things turn out positively and as green as we think it would be.
I suggest you to take a tour of the school.
NOw that u have enrolled ur kids.....need review on Edify school very badly, my daughter is in 2nd now.........have to choose btw jnanasweekar and Edify.......wud appreciate ur review on Edify school.......how do u find the school......especially for higher class 7th....
My daughters are very happy going to Edify. We, as parents also are happy with the curriculum(CBSE) & the approach to teaching(They follow the 3 C method). I must say, it is a parent friendly & child friendly school. Though the numbers are not that high(in higher class), my kids are enjoying the individual attention that they get at school. Apart from the academics, the school also encourages kids in various extra curricular activities(dramatics, robotics, higher order thinking classes, music, sports, arts & crafts, dance, yoga etc). For Grade1 currently, there are 28 kids;14 kids in each section, i.e, A & B.....Since there are lesser number in each class, the teacher-child communication, interaction & bonding is more....My older daughter who is in Grade 7 is enjoying her school so much because of the BONDING between the kids & the teachers (I guess lesser number helps). The teachers are well qualified with extensive exp in teaching.. If you are concerned about the competition among the kids, these kids at Edify do have healthy competition as well just like in any other school with more numbers. I personally feel that the kids get to do more projects & they are enjoying the extra attention that they are getting.
The school is just 2years old, so less number of kids..... But they are expecting more kids to join them for the coming academic year...
From my interaction with theEdifiers and their parents , I notice that both the kids & the parents are really happy.
I would suggest that you visit both the schools, take a tour & then decide........

Hope this helps.....
Tx a lot divya for ur timely reply and review, this helped us a lot. Actually we had visited the school last week and very impressed with the world class facilities they have, but were little apprehensive because we feel they are concerned with more of activities and less of academics......fee structure they are quoting is 40,000 during admission and 45,000 tution fees.....plus 15000 approx for books, uniforms, shoes, and stationery......and they have annual charges from second year onwards......can u pls tell what will be the annual charge,........and how much u paid for uniform and books......I feel 15000 is very high....where do u stay and how much u pay for transportation.........it would be of great help divya.
Hello Ms. Divya,
Waiting for ur reply. Pls share the Edify school fees including tution fees, anual fees, books, and transport for the second year. We very much liked the school, just checking if this school will be affordable for....also pls tell where exactly u stay just to calculate the school bus fare.........really appreciate ur reply.
Pls go thru' the below link to find out about the fee structure.....
Regarding the books & uniform, books are priced on the higher side because they have their own study materials....(till Grade 4/5)...For the older kids, they do refer some Cambridge University books which are slightly pricey.....But otherwise, its okay I feel...
Transportation fees depends on the distance.....I live in Gopalan Jewels, which is about 15 kms from the school & I'm being charged 19K per child as of now.....Pls chk with the transport co-ordinator......
And regarding your apprehensiveness about academics vs activities, the school does give EQUAL importance to both.......
Good Luck !!!!!
Tx a lot for all the info, helping us a lot.....we stay around 10 km radius from school...so van fees will be a little lesser.....what abt annual fees, it is Rs. 14000.....can u pls elaborate on that.....is it compulsary that we have to pay that.....or is it based on the activities we choose for our kid......
Glad I am of some help to you........The annual fees is a must for all the kids........And most of the activities are included in the curriculum.......
I am also looking for admission for my 2.6 year son for the academic year 2014-2015. I just come across this discussion, as per the reviews and discussion for this school, i feel the environment and other activities are very good. But i didn't see any update related to academics. Please can you give some more inputs on this as your kids are already in higher classes. Are they conducting competative exams like Olympiad, NSTSE Exams ?
