hello friends!

i hope that you all agree that being parents is all together a different opens a new chapter of life which for sure is full of happiness and love but also brings few parenting challenges on day to day basis.I also have a daughter who is now 26 months(2 yrs approx.)so i also have the same experiences,i guess we have to be more creative esplly.when it comes to dealing  & managing toddlers...we are living in london from the last 3 years and i n a stay-at home mom,and my daughter .like every toddler s always full of energy and wants to play non-stop bt its also true dat sometimes we feel dat there should be sm place where kids cn enjoy and we cn sit bk n enjoy watching them playing same plus can meet up some mew friends with commomn this is the point where toddler groups come in picture. In the Uk most churches provide spaces lk kind of halls ,mostly twice a week(for 2-3 hrs)which the parents can use to meetup and bring their toddlers for playing as the playgroup also provides with lot of indoor toys and sm rhymes sessions for kids..i guesss we cn apply the same systems in india also esplly. in apartment building because meetups a easy there, and halls are usually available as far toys are concerned people cn donate or collect sm indoor toys and manage with them...we do the same here plus we voluntarily donate a small amount aswll for some small reuirements lk tea, cofee, kids buiscuit n trust me friends it really feels gud to visits such places every week and not to mention my daughter and all the kids there enjoy  being in the toddler groups.I hope that this information is of some help for the parents(esplly, moms)....regards...sanaya

Hi From Renata

Just read your message, I have been in Bangalore for just over two weeks now. Through the over seas womens group there are about two meetings for parents with young children. they are usually held at peoples houses.

I have found one soft play activity center near where I live and have heard of many more.

It isn't easy living in Bangalore with young children as you do spend so much time in the car!!!! As long as you do not try to recreate your life in London into Bangalore you will be fine.

Best regards Renata
