Thanks for all the feedback that we are considering for deciding our kid's schooling. We are also considering GIS & GNS for our daughter's admission this year in UKG.
Fees: GIS (2 lacs ) fees are definitely higher than GNS (1.65 lacs) including transport and other charges. But facility wise, a huge difference btw these two.
Now, we are confused how GIS guides its students academically, specially in higher classes. Heard GNS is focused on studies only, not much on extra activities. If anyone can help us in giving the clear picture of GIS curriculum and how we can justify the fees there?
I bet a child can hardly excel in 1 sport during their entire time in school till 10th.
Exposure to multiple sports is good, but that can be done with any school with a big playground.
GNS fails miserably here, palyground is too small and you will have to look for change once kid comes to higher class.
And on top of that the PU students keep occupying the ground which is already congested.
GNS has been winning Bangalore Cricket championship for the last 3 years, so it is not bad , but again only 1 sport, that too it is from a private academy, not from the school.
All ICSE schools are struggling at higher classes.
Most of the kids go to tutions, syllabus is very tough and quality teachers are a rare commodity now.
Unfortunately cant help you much with GIS curriculum.
Fees justification comes from 1) so many sports (quality coaches in each one) 2) Free lunch (organic) 3) less kids per class and lesser sections compared to GNS.
Anyone got information abt GIS fees for 4th grade..?
